European stocks markets turned mostly lower, as downbeat economic reports from Germany fuelled concerns over the health of the euro zone's biggest economy and as concerns over tensions in Ukraine persisted.
U.S. stocks market dismissed escalating tensions in Ukraine and rose on the coattails of a better-than-expected consumer sentiment report.

RIL returns nearly 1,384 acre of SEZ land in Haryana
Reliance Industries reportedly said it has returned nearly 1,384 acres of land in Gurgaon that was acquired for its SEZ. Reliance Haryana SEZ Limited returned 1,383.68 acres of land in Gurgaon acquired from HSIIDC for setting up SEZs due to revision of strategic priorities.
Wipro gains entry into Bank of America’s IT vendor league
Wipro has become an empanelled IT vendor to compete for BofA's future requests for proposal. TCS, Cognizant and Infosys have been major vendors to Bank of America (BofA), one of the world's biggest IT outsourcers. Among its peers, Wipro has the lowest revenues (as a proportion of total revenues) coming from the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) vertical — it's 27% compared to TCS and Cognizant's 42%.
Maruti at new high, Aug sales ride on Celerio, Dzire, Ritz
Shares of Maruti Suzuki touched a new high, up 3 percent intraday on strong growth in August sales numbers boosted by compact cars segment. India's largest car maker sold 1,10,776 lakh units in August, up 27 percent compared to 87,323 units in same period last year and up 9 percent compared to 1.01 lakh units in previous month.
Natco Pharma stock surges 5%
Shares of Natco Pharma gained 5% after the company announced that its marketing partner in the USA, Mylan Inc. has filed an ANDA for a three-times-a week generic Copaxone and has been accepted by the US Food and Drug Administration . Natcos partner Mylan believes it is one of the first companies to have filed a substantially complete ANDA containing a Paragraph IV certification for this product.
