INDIAN EQUITY BENCHMARK Key benchmark indices ended
flat, amid a volatile trading session, as investors booked
profits in ICICI Bank and sell-off in Tata Power. In the broader
market, the BSE Mid-cap and Small-cap indices ended down
1.3% each.
Further, Ramco Cements fell 3.64% after net profit fell
10.28% to Rs 22.96 crore on 6% decline in total income to Rs
817.77 crore in Q3 December 2014 over Q3 December 2013.
Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company dropped 7.96%,
after the company reported net loss to Rs65.93 crore in Q3
December 2014, compared with net loss of Rs93.15 crore in
Q3 December 2013.
GLOBAL FACE
Asian shares rose on value buying in blue-chips after closing
at their lowest in two weeks in the previous session, while a
strong response to HDFC Bank's $1.6 billion share offering
also bolstered sentiment for its rivals.
European stocks fell after the European Central Bank abruptly
cancelled its acceptance of Greek bonds in return for funding,
shifting the burden onto the country's central bank.
US stocks index futures poised for a lower opening at the Wall
Street on Thursday.
