2. In what ways does your media product use ,develop or challenge
forms and conventions of real media products?
Although I wanted to make my magazine to be unique ,new and different , it
needed to follow magazines conventions in order for it to sell as my chosen
target audience would have certain expectations that my product would have
certain expectations that my product would need to fulfill
Music magazine convention include :
A masthead , a main image and cover lines associate with the magazine
Interesting color scheme that creates an interesting and eye catching effects.
Front covers
Chatty informal mode of address popular celebrities included as a selling point
The date of the issue with the price and a barcode .
Plus a professional looking photography
Are the things which I have help structure my magazine.
3. How does your media product represent particular social
groups?
Social groups are portrayed as stereotypes through media
through media weather its on TV, radio or magazines. In
my magazine I represent two different groups:
my product feature a young female musician that have
made it to the top in a very less time
Young women my magazine features empowering young
women and although magazine, in the pages I’ve have
done the main attraction/attention was on the young female
artist
Over all the group that my magazine represents would be
the pop/rock girls.
4. What kind of media institution might distribute your media
product and why?
In order to be successful , magazine
needs to be supported by a
media/publishing institution to produce
and distribute the magazine .
Institution such as emap , ipc/media
,Bauer produce hundreds of magazine
radio and other media product.
Therefore they may be interested to
distribute my type of magazine too.

6. How did you attract/address your audience?
Bright colors for the cover lines that would grab the
attention.
Different use of effect for the main image
Big master head and a famous celebrity’s image that
covers the full page
I chose the title shout out loud because it its representing
how the this generation is standing out and showing their
new talent in different forms
The main image pose is a very dreamy look as the main
theme is a fairytale dream coming to life.
The text which I have used is very chatty and informal to
make the audience have that lively effect as if it was the
person her/his self taking to them
7. What have you learnt about technologies from the
process of constructing this product?
In this process I’ve learnt to use different technology for each
aspect of this task.
Photoshop: to edit the pictures
Blogger: to post my work
Publisher: to do some of the final effect of the pages.
Microsoft word / PowerPoint : to type the text and in my cover
page case to make the whole page
Digital camera : to take the pictures
Slide share :to upload the PowerPoint
8. Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel
you have learnt in the progression from it to the full
product?
I have learnt to experiment with
different color and effect.
Use to position the camera at
different positions to get different
angle.
The uses of lights to create
different effect on the picture
As I have used the same model Preliminary Main task
for both so we could actually see task
the new way I’ve experiment
with the colours and effects
