Malaysia, undoubtedly, is a land of mysterious appeal and charm. What makes this country
different from others is its reception to different cultures, and still retaining its own identity. Once
seen, this mystifying country would definitely become an inseparable part of your experiences and
memories and for many becomes home .
So where exactly is Malaysia?
Malaysia is in South East Asia
                     sharing borders with Singapore
                          and Thailand. Divided into
                   thirteen states and three federal
territories, it has Kuala Lumpur as
the capital and Putrajaya as the
administrative hub i.e. the seat of
                        the federal government. The
large number of islands in the
country, over 200, has blessed it
                            with a long and beautiful
                        coastline. In fact, the pristine
                   beaches of Malaysia, combined
                          with its lofty mountains and
                            flourishing national parks,
                  comprises of its major attractions.
1. Malaysia is an ex British colony. It gained independence from the United Kingdom on 31st
August 1957 but remains one of the Commonwealth Nations.

2. About 35,000 expats live in Malaysia. Around 13,000 are British. The majority of expats live
in KL and are employed in the oil and gas industry.

3. "TUN" is the most senior federal title in Malaysia and cannot be given to more than 25
living recipients at any one time.

4. Kuala Lumpur is the capital city of Malaysia.

5. Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur are the world’s tallest twin buildings and were the
tallest buildings in the world until Taipei 101 took over.

6. The motto of Malaysia is ‘Bersekutu Bertambah Mutu’, which means ‘Unity is Strength’.

7. Malaysia is often dubbed the "lucky country" because of its wealth of mineral resources
     and fertile soils

8. Malaysia (particularly along the peninsular west coast) has one of the best assortments
of delicious cuisines in the world.

9. The earliest evidence of human life in the region is a 40,000-year-old skull found in
     Sarawak’s Niah Caves.

10. The beauty of Malaysia lies in the fusion of it all, into a country that is one of the safest,
most stable and easiest to manage in Southeast Asia.
•There is a buoyant ex pat market. Over 13,000 British are living and working there
and that’s not counting other Europeans, Americans, Australians, New Zealanders
which takes that total to over 35,000 – that’s a HUGE captive market

•The cost of living vs. earning potential is massive. This is a genuine opportunity
not only to live and work in a destination most people only dream about but also
a chance to get make serious headway financially – look at the cost of living
comparison below

http://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-
living/compare_cities.jsp?country1=United+Kingdom&city1=London&country2=M

First year earnings will be at least £80k OTE and increase dramatically in years 2
and 3 onwards

There is the opportunity to conduct business all over the South East Asia truly
opening up your market as you’re strategically positioned to take full advantage
•MD Comes from Financial services background which includes Standard & Poor’s an a UK
economic think tank. Main benefit is that he’s not just a sales guy and is able to develop the
company ‘technically’. Key advantage as they employ S&P rating service to help with fund
selection and Financial Express for reviews and portfolio optimization
•Solid roots in the region – over a decade in the business.
•Excellent reputation in Asia so know you’re representing a trusted organisation
•The Company invests into itself. Seems pretty obvious but few really do. Some examples of
the ‘reinvestment’ are as follows.
- All staff can access their client database via a internet browser.
- Annual subscriptions to S+P, Financial Express & NAV global for online client valuations.
- Marketing budget
- Bought own office (good sign of long term planning as many only lease).
- Rewrote the website into 4 languages (not aware of any other brokerage that has done
this).
- Actively try to recruit multiple nationalities. They have German, French, Japanese,
American, NZ and UK consultants.
- Flat management structure. Just one MD and then branch manages.
• State of the art CRM system - manages so many aspects of the relationship administration
including portfolio reviews.
•All staff without exception have to take their ICWM exam. This sends a good message to the
professionals out there and makes clients know they’re dealing with true advisers
This prestigious and exceptionally stable client has been servicing the international
expatriate community in Asia for the past 10 years. They assist their expatriate clients in
anything as simple as opening an offshore bank account or obtaining an offshore
mortgage, through to discretionary portfolio management and estate planning.

Their services include but are not limited to the following:
  Banking & Mortgages

streams to develop your client base.

The offer:
· A draw of £1000UK is available for the first 3 months – when a one bedroom
apartment in the city only costs £300 UK so you can see this goes a long way!
· Top-Level commissions and uncapped earnings
· Work Permits are provided.
