How To Install the Tor proxy Client

- The “Tor Button” is a Firefox plug-in that must be enabled in Firefox. FYI: Tools> Add Ons> Extensions
- Tor will attempt to connect to the proxy network but, will not be able to because the Bridges are not configured yet.
- NOTE: If you closed the control panel please get back to it now by right clicking on the X’d out onion at the bottom right hand corner of your screen
- Click on the second tab, Network. Click My ISP blocks connections to the Tor network. Copy each bridge, one line at time, into the Add a Bridge entry box. Click OK.
- Right Click on the TOR Button- which is just the text “Tor Disabled”.
- Select Preferences
- Take the check mark off of Disable plugins… Click OK.
- After you click Start Tor. Tor will use the Bridges you entered to connect to the proxy network.
- Right Click on the Onion at the bottom right hand corner of your screen to get to help.
