Lind School is very proud to be a part of this project together with you exellent partnes from Andalusia and Herning. Lind School has 725 pupils and about 70 teachers, headmasters, pedagougues, technical staff.
Creativity is an important part of the pupils motivation. The teachers are very different in using creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship. Everybody think it is a godd idea. But how can the teachers change their way of thinking to work with the goals for the pupils learning.
We have learned that creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship is a way of thinking teaching. The headmasters must be clear to give ”license” to the teachers to practise creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship. As headmasters we must stand up and legalize this way of teaching – because some parents could be suspicius comparing to their own time in school.
Entrepreneurship – small steps – as headmaster make clear what you want to see – remember to recognize it when it happen in the organisation. Follow up.
In my school we have challenged the teachers in creative processes. I have given them an exersises every year to make minimun one period with entrepreneurial teaching. I have 6 teachers who have taken a special education in creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship. It was a 7 day course. The whole staff has had speciel days with planning of entrepreneurship projects.
During conversations with my staff I have focused of entrepreneurship and their challenges. We have also learned that it is possible and neccesary to train creativity and entrepreneurship in the organisation. So for me are my valuation, education of the teachers, my way of making team important keywords.
How do we convince our surrondings of the value of entrepreneurship? Use information, pictures, the newspapers. Make the children and parents proud. Work with the children so the understand what they have learned.
I have point out two keypersons to participate in the local group in the munipalicy. In this group they inspire each other and they get information back to the school to the headmasters, their team could know about new things and ideas.
We are working on a project where we involve the secondary school. We will open the school more to our surroundings local companies in Lind and the high schools.
The surroundings must understand the value of working this way. When I am talking about surroundings I am thinking of the children, parents, teachers, headmasters, policians. We have made a new school magasin where Belinda has written about her way of working.
It is difficult to move all teachers – but small steps – common langague about creativity and entrepreneurship. And I must all the time remember, that Rome not was build in one day.
This project has opend my eyes how to use for example LEGO in inklusion processes. The project has opend my eyes for the difficulties in working this way. Some teachers find it interesting but difficult to practise. As headmaster I must all the time keep my attention to my organisation – to work with this aspekt.
It has been a challenge to change teacher in during the project. But Belinda has been very opend minded and have worked very hard to progress in this way of teaching. It has been a challange to keep contact between Spain and Denmark. But when we have meet it has been very interesting. The Facebookgroup is exellent to exchange pictures and experiences.
The interesting dicussions during the project. The hard work from all the participants. CEP, schooladministration in Herning, VIA; Rune and Kurt, Christobals bookstore, teachers, headmasters, the stearing group, the cultural knowledge about each other.
Many fantastic experiences and knowledge about creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship in Spain and Denmark, together with the people in the project. The experiences in Spain and Denmark has been an important part in the further work, the education of all us has been very inspirering.
That it is possible to work with a project across borders. I value the development and progress in using the different tools that we have learned during the project.
I value the knowlegde about each other and the different schoolsystems. When I am in Denmark I often thinking of the different experiences from the Spanish schools. I know that we have challenges in Denmark, but in Spain the economic situation makes big challenges for the schools.
I value the friendship dispite the different cultures, the common language that we have achieved during the project. I value the hospitality from our Spanish hosts and knowledge about Spain, creativity, entrepreneurship.
I hope that we still will be contact after the project. Now we must work with our different organisations to develop entrepreneurship. In Denmark we are working to implement a new reform where entrepreneurship is an important part.
Thankyou soo much to all of you for our common CECI-journey it has been very exiting. We have shared experiences, challenges, culture to make a better school for the children. Good luck in the future to all of you.
