3. Phrasal verbs
Phrasal verbs consist of a verb combined
with a short word called particle, in fact
the meaning of the resulting 2 or 3-word
verb is a combination of both, the verb and
the particle (preposition)

Get along: Llevarse bien, have a good
relation with someone like family, friends,
etc.
Example:
I get along with my brother, besides we
always talked of the pets

Come across: Meet someone unexpectedly.
Example:
I went to the cinema and I came across
alejandra.

Give up: rendirse, leave something you want
to leave.
Example:
I gave up drinking alcohol because I felt bad.

Watch out!: tener cuidado, be alert to
anything that you can happen
Example:
Watch out! the dog is dangerous, it can bite.

Walk about: walk, come and go somewhere
Example:
I walked about aimlessly in mexico with my
mom.

Get on: climb some means of transport, etc.
For example:
I saw the young people get on the airplane.

For example:
It is good to carry out the tasks to get good
grades

For example:
He must go up the mountain.

Look after: take care of someone or something.
For example
I will look after your dog while you travel to
Paris.

For example:
