2. On Friday 15th January 2016, our media class went out to have a
photoshoot. We went to Kettering Train Station, Wicksteed
Park, various places in Corby and the Corby Cube. It was fun to
experience going round to different locations and trying out
different angles and working with my class mates. I got a variety
of photos for my male singer and female singer. Unfortunately,
only 2 member of my boyband were available for the
photoshoot, so I experimented with candid looking shots of
them walking as if they were going somewhere. This
PowerPoint will show my experimentation with my female
singer.

8. After looking through all my photos, I began to pick out my favourite ones.
I decided on these five photos because I
wanted images that used direct
address and showed some of the
singers personality. I most like the
images where she has a slight smirk.
The wind is also blowing in her hair
which I think adds more effect to the
photo. Image 3 makes the subject look
more edgier and that is the sort of look
I was going for. She is a pop singer, but
slightly mature than the stereotypical
female girly girl. I want to show her as
more mature as my target audience are
growing up, so I want her to look like a
good role model.

9. Image 1 Here I have photo shopped two different versions
of the same image. I think I prefer picture a as it
doesn’t look as filtered as image b. I like this
image because all the subject is doing is simply
sitting on stairs and smiling, but its simplicity
looks quite effective.

10. Image 2 I decided to experiment with making pictures darker or lighter. I think I
prefer the lighter picture in this case as I feel that the darker version makes
the image dull.

I really like this photo
as the subjects smile
says a lot. This is my
new upcoming
female singer and the
smile could show she
is happy with
everything in her life
right now. I decided
to make the picture
to signify that she is
happy.
