- ｷ I am here today to present a plan for change in our school. We have a good school, but our world is changing and we need to make sure that we are keeping pace in order to give our students the best possible education and prepare them for life once they leave this place.
- Our world is changing at a mind-boggling pace. It’s hard to keep up, but we need to try.
- ｷ I would like to propose that we increase our budget spending in the area of technology. ｷ Our computers are outdated, our network is unreliable, and only a few teachers are attempting to use technology in their classrooms. We need to become intentional in our use of technology. Our technology plan must be one that gets used; it cannot just sit in some file cabinet somewhere.

- Many College Students Lack Needed Tech Skills When students enter college, they either have it or they don't. And which side of the digital divide they fall on may well shape their identities and what route they take into careers, suggests a new study. "Even though there is no prerequisite for knowing about technology to get to the university level -- there are requirements for math, science and other things -- there is no technology prerequisite," she said. "But once you walk onto campus, you can't enroll in classes, you can't get financial aid, you can't get onto Blackboard (a widely used electronic education software suite), you can't answer emails.
