I joined IBM in the summer of 2002. I'm currently working as an IBM Distinguished Engineer and CTO Open Cloud in IBM Cloud Division's Open Technology organization. I have been involved in the architecture, design, and engineering of distributed systems for most of my 33+ year career and have been actively engaged in open standards and open source development since 1999.
Presently, in addition to being responsible for IBM's open source and standards strategy and execution as it relates to Cloud Computing, I am focused on IBM's engagement with OpenStack, Cloud Foundry and Docker.
