1. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
Technologies Used:
Adobe Premiere Pro (main editing software)
www.blogger.com (publishing service for my work)
Slideshare (To embed my Work on Blogger)
Premiere Pro
Adobe Premiere Pro is a timeline-based video editing software application. It is part of the Adobe Creative
Cloud, which includes video editing, graphic design, and web development programs.
Premiere Pro is used by broadcasters such as the BBC and CNN. It has been used to edit feature films, such
as Gone Girl, Captain Abu Raed, and Monsters, and other venues such as Madonna's Confessions Tour.
logger is a blog-publishing service that allows multi-user blogs with time-stamped entries. It was
developed by Pyra Labs, which was bought by Google in 2003. Generally, the blogs are hosted by Google at
a subdomainof blogspot.com. Blogs can also be hosted in the registered custom domain of the blogger (like
www.example.com). So blogspot.com domain publishing will be redirected to the custom domain. A user
can have up to 100 blogs per account.
LinkedIn SlideShare is a Web 2.0 based slide hosting service. Users can upload files privately or publicly in
the following file formats: PowerPoint, PDF, Keynote or OpenDocument presentations. Slide decks can then
be viewed on the site itself, on hand held devices or embedded on other sites. Launched on October 4, 2006,
the website is considered to be similar to YouTube, but for slideshows. It was acquired by LinkedIn in 2012.
The website was originally meant to be used for businesses to share slides among employees more easily, but
it has since expanded to also become a host of a large number of slides that are uploaded merely to
entertain. Although the website is primarily a slide hosting service, it also supports documents, PDFs, videos
and webinars.
2. Utilisation of Premiere Pro: I used premiere pro for the
whole editing process that includes title creation, cutting,
music editing and colour grading. I utilised these options to
higher extent in my Production Work.
Colour Correction-
I increased the proportions of the
colour white to increase the
lighting. This led to increasing
brightness, resulting in fewer
shadows; leading to the howl
atmosphere does not appear so
far into the night time as in the
original footage. Before

3. Fading and Transitions
Sound Editing
Voice over
The Siren Scene consisting out of two Blue Police
Flashlights, who were only modified by decreasing the
brightness
To increase the effect of the wake up scene, I inserted key frames at two 2 points.
At those points there was a proportional increase of the volume of the track aiming in a crescendo in the end.
Black and white image control to make the footage appear
to be filmed in the early morning. (In comparison unedited
footage)
I used mainly the Feature “Film dissolve” since it’s a quite
simple transition between shots. Further i.used exponential
Sound Fading for the sound in my film.
4. Camera:
I used the canon 600D to take my shots with a tripod. This was the fastest and cheapest way to get good shots.
I used voice overs for nearly all close ups, intending to
create a monologue for every single character in my project.
