The energy component of our ecological footprint has
increased about 700% between 1961 and 2006.
Most energy consumption comes from the burning of fossil fuels~ a
non- renewable resource that contributes to global warming, acid rain,
and even bone and lung disease!
Instead of fossil fuels consider alternative energy sources like solar energy. Solar
panels are environmentally safe and can be purchased for your home! Solar
powered lights for outside your home are a great option as well.
