Site Contract Manager for Speedy Asset Services.
As the Site Contract Manager for Perenco Oil U.K at their service hub based at
Holton Health, Dorset. Responsible for all aspects of managing a fixed term
contract for the supply of all required hire equipment to support multiple mobile
drilling rigs for both exploratory and established oil well drilling operations along
with process and maintenance requirements. This included main gathering and piping
facility at Wytch Farm, Wareham as well as seven locations between Hampshire and
Dorset inclusive of one offshore island facility.
Main responsibilities included the timely scheduling and site supply logistics for all
required fixed and mobile plant equipment including generators, lighting towers,
compressors, powered access machinery and both powered and loose lifting
equipment.
Weekly and monthly contract KPI`s and SLA`s along with daily and monthly toolbox
talks, safety meetings and commercial review meetings. Monthly P&L reviews and
management.
Full company and client QA SHE compliance to required standards for the Petroleum
drilling and refining industry along with UK and European standards. The
management of onsite service engineers and drivers. Full fuel supply and management
for both company and client owned equipment inclusive of safety critical support
equipment. Devolvement of contract for commercial growth and expansion.

Site Contract Manager for Lloyds British Testing Limited.
As the Site Manager at ExxonMobil Refinery in Fawley Hampshire. Responsible
for all aspects of managing a fixed term contract for statutory inspection and
maintenance of all powered, fixed and loose lifting appliances & accessories on site
(currently in the region of 6000 assets).
All aspects of site compliance to LOLER, PUWER & The Supply of Machinery
(Safety) Regulations. Compliance to all site specific QASHE policies. The
management and precuement of all required lifting stock, advise on its use and
suitability.
Weekly, monthly and quarterly contract review meeting with Exxon Senior
Management. The preparation and timely submission of Key Performance Indicators
& Lead Indicators. Consultation and leadership in inavative and cost effective
measures to enhance both client and company performance. All aspects of contract
accountability both finical & contractual.
October 2008 to April 2009. (Six month consultancy contract).
Health and Safety Coordinator at Caterpillar Wimborne Marine. Responsible
for daily fire safety checks including fire suppression and detection systems,
emergency escape routes and lighting. Periodic system tests and evacuations, fire risk
assessments, training and inductions.
Site specific health and safety inductions of external contract labour. The inspection
of external risk assessments and method statements to insure compliance to U.K.
legislative requirements. Writing and delivering training of site staff to corporate and

overseeing all healthy & safety in the factory including regular monthly audits,
liaising with Line Supervisors/Team leaders and other departmental Managers.

2000– 2007
Lifting Equipment Co-ordinator at Fleet Time Engineering RN, Portsmouth. I
was responsible for 2,500 pieces of lifting equipment ranging from general tackle to
major lifting frames, ladders, overhead cranes, and portable scaffold towers
inspection. The decision on destruction and procurement of all lifting equipment was
my responsibility. Other duties included: section safety officer, speaking and liaising
with insurance companies, outside contractors and suppliers. I have extensive
knowledge of running teams both Royal Naval & Civilian Engineers with over ten
year’s experience working operationally with sea going vessels on a reactive and
rapid response basis, managing equipment engine, generator, weapons systems
changes to very tight deadlines, often involving long hours, both in the U.K and on
deployment abroad.

Married with a daughter aged 21 and a son aged 17. If I were afforded the

My greatest achievements to date have been:
Awarded ExxonMobil Silver Tiger Award for Safety 2012 (Team Award).
Instrumental in the introduction of Caterpillar corporate Environmental, Health and
Safety policies and procedures at the Caterpillar Wimborne Marine Power site.
Insuring that the site became fully integrated to corporate requirements.
Commendations for various work packages including. Three weeks subcontracted to
Vospor Thornycroft on complete engine and generator replacement for the Greek
navy on two ex MOD vessels on the island of Syros in Greece.
The coordination and removal of antique machinery, blocks and tackle from an area
within the Portsmouth Naval Base renovated by British Heritage, to the fact that this
is the first modern Production Line created by Isimbard Kingdom Brunel and deemed
a National Heritage Site.
Personally invited for lunch aboard H.M.S. Warrior by Captain Fleet Maintenance in
recognition of my contribution to his organization.
Selected out of a team of 700 industrial employees to be part of a 10 strong team to
implement LEAN. This consisted of rapid improvement and cost cutting exercise
events in various areas of the Naval Base with proactive implementation.
