2. Casual Dress Code! The dress code here at Westside HS isn’t very strict! Minus the few appropriate rules, you can wear practically anything you want!

3. Off Campus! As juniors and seniors, you get the privilege to go off campus for lunch! Also, as a senior you are eligible for off campus 7th!

4. Art! WHS has a very diverse art program! From ceramics (as seen in picture above), to painting, even photography! We also have a visual arts program, dance, theater, etc.!

5. Auditorium! We have two auditoriums and a black box! All which are used for or wonderful Westside productions!

6. ASL! Something very unique that Westside has to offer is the American Sign Language class. It is different and a lot of fun, the teacher himself is deaf so you can get a taste of the deaf culture! It is also a foreign language credit!

7. Food! We have a diverse selection of food for lunch. Papa John’s (as seen above) Chick-fil-a, Chinese, and bullrito’salso come certain days of each week. And of course the school lunch.

8. Vendo-Land! Westside has snack as well! Vendo-land is full of vending machines for a quick snack or beverages!

9. The Courtyard! The courtyard is a fun outdoor area where students converse before school, eat lunch and hang out after school.

10. The Commons! This is the one place in the school you can use your phone! Students hang out here before school, at lunch, and after school. The Wolves Den is also located here, which is Westside’s school store!

11. Sports! WHS has an awesome sports program! With activities such as: football, vollyball, drill team, cheerleading, la crosse, golf, baseball, softball, swimming and other aquatic programs, tennis, wrestling, power lifting, soccer, basketball, and track/cross country.
