 MLM is a business model where you’re an
independent contractor that sells a product.
 What is unique is that you also recruit additional
independent contractors that also sell; when they
make a sale, you receive a percentage of the sale.
How to Choose an MLM Company
Availability of information. Can you easily find relevant details about the
company, products, and pay plan on their website before you sign up?
Beware of companies that require a minimum purchase every month.
Consider the price point.
Are you comfortable selling a product with that price?
Research the company’s reputation.
Pick a product you like.
Set a Reasonable Goal
 Success comes when you pursue a realistic goal.
 You’ll see many success stories; what’s more
important is to find out what you must do

  • 3. What is Multi-Level Marketing?  MLM is a business model where you’re an independent contractor that sells a product.  What is unique is that you also recruit additional independent contractors that also sell; when they make a sale, you receive a percentage of the sale.
  • 4. How to Choose an MLM Company Availability of information. Can you easily find relevant details about the company, products, and pay plan on their website before you sign up? Beware of companies that require a minimum purchase every month. Consider the price point. Are you comfortable selling a product with that price? Research the company’s reputation. Pick a product you like.
  • 5. Set a Reasonable Goal  Success comes when you pursue a realistic goal.  You’ll see many success stories; what’s more important is to find out what you must do consistently to expect the results you desire.  Then you can set both short-term and long-term goals that you know you can meet.
  • 6. Create a Realistic Plan Learn the Truth What will it take to get to your goal? Be Realistic Avoid creating your marketing plan around what you wish was true. Get a System Find or develop a process that works well for you.

Develop and Follow a Marketing Budget  Most of the people that lose money in MLM do so simply because they fail to pay attention to their spending.  A budget helps you develop a plan for profit. You'll think, "How can I best use this money?“  Setting that marketing budget will limit your risk and make you carefully consider what you're doing, thus increasing your odds for success.
  • 8. Have Multiple Sources of Lead Generation It’s important to have multiple sources of leads. Find more prospects. + Protect your business.
  • 9. Critical Key for Lead Generation Success Pick One Technique. Learn to make that one work for you. Move on to another strategy that adds to the leads you’re already receiving.
  • 10. Communication: Closing Prospects  The real measure of success is conversions; that’s when you actually get paid.  Technology simply changes the tools that you use, and not the fact that MLM is a relationship business.  People buy from those they know, like, and trust.
  • 11. Create a Follow-Up System Ensure your follow-up system allows for multiple opportunities for conversion. Give them a chance to get to know, like, and trust you!

Follow-Up: Strengthening Trust  For every activity you engage in related to your business, always ask yourself: Is this activity building trust or destroying it?  Are your prospects more interested in your offering - or less - as a result of an action you take?  This mindset will lead to great improvements in your marketing results.

Old Prospects & Ex-Downline: Reconnect!  Even if you’ve been told “no” before by a prospect, that doesn't mean anything now.  Ex-downline members that have drifted away for whatever reason are a vastly overlooked source of business in MLM.  Stay positive and keep reaching out to people and attempting to solve their problems. Things may have changed in their lives & they might now be open to your offer.

Reconnect With Retail Customers  Considering that network-marketing products tend to be more expensive than comparable retail competitor's products, be certain that you deliver a degree of service that will make this totally worthwhile for your customer.  Developing a strategy for year round retail sales will help to keep you organized, ahead of the competition, and increase your sales.
  • 16. Track Your Marketing Actions Being busy all the time doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re spending your time wisely! Effective tracking requires an evaluation of your progress on a weekly basis. Realizing the truth may enable you to easily double or triple your results. You can make a simple tracking system with a notebook.
  • 17. Don’t Quit!  It’s essentially impossible to fail if you don't give up.  It's really about taking responsibility for what's going on in your business and consistently measuring, testing, and improving every aspect of it.  Those negative emotions are just feedback that things aren't perfected yet.
