 It’s not just for Bonner Scholars! (Although it’s for
them, too!)
 Any student can take advantage of the services
offered by the Bonner House including service trips,
the website, the facility, and more.

3. Event Planning
 The Bonner House offers assistance is connecting
student organizations with service organizations
throughout the area, the nation, and the world.
 The Bonner House can offer support in facilitating
your event.
 The Bonner House can assist in cosponsoring your
service events.
 Our major resource is volunteer.concord.edu

4. Event Promotion
 The Bonner House can promote your service
activities to increase participation.
 This includes through our Facebook group, CU
SERVE, volunteer.concord.edu, listservs, and the
local media

5. Service Recognition
 The Bonner House will assist in post-service public
relations, including the posting of photos and
videos on our website, news releases, and more.
 The Bonner House assists in awarding students and
student organizations in recognition for their
service.

6. Opportunities
 The Bonner House is currently seeking applicants to
replace the current VISTAs.
 Work will begin this summer in a stipend-based
position as a VISTA trainee.
 VISTA benefits include an education award, living
stipend, free room and board, health insurance, life
insurance, and child care
 One position is coming open in May but may be
stipend-only based for a while.
