2. Biography
Jim Carrey was born on January 17,1962 in
Newmarket,Canada.
He is a Canadian American actor, comedian,
impressionist, screenwriter, and film producer.
Carrey has been married twice. His first
marriage was to former actress and Comedy
Store waitress Melissa Womer. The couple tied
the knot in 1987 but called it quits in 1995.
 Carrey has a daughter, Jane Erin Carrey.(28
years old)

3. Childhood
Jim Carrey did not have that good of a childhood
because his family was poor.
Carrey was forced to get a job in his teens when his
father lost his job.

4. Carrey has always been open about his ADHD
(Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). As a
student, Jim was restless child.

Jim Carrey was crowned class clown in junior high. At the end of
each school day, teachers agreed to give him a few minutes to
perform for his class mates.
 His father helped Carrey develop his stage act and would drive him
to Toronto to perform stand-up. The comedian made his debut at
the comedy club Yuk Yuk's.
Even though Carrey worked hard and achieved great success in his
career, nobody would have ever guessed that he also suffered from
depression for many years of his life.
