The standard E4 logo. E4 was
launched in 2001 and broadcasts
24 hours a day. The estings
competition began in 2007. Many
estings are both creative and fun.
This is a standard small ident that
last for approx. 3 seconds. It is
simply a sticker being placed down
to reveal the e4 logo.
I could possibly incorporate themes or characters from
some e4 shows. This may add to the humour or
creativity of the sting.
These estings are stopmotion pieces. I like the idea
of a stop motion film as there
are many possibilities.
These characters are from an unused esting, where
the different body parts merge to create a new
character before speeding up and merging into the
e4 logo. I will use the colour purple throughout y
sting, so people will automatically know what the
channel is.
The above images are from an animated esting. The sting is quite random
and features a catchy tune. This particular sting was a finalist of the
competition in 2011.
This esting references king kong,
with the planes taking the form
of TV rivals.
