À propos
I have worked as an interpreter full time since 1990, and I have taught interpreting since 2005. My language pair is American Sign Language and English. My current goal is to teach more workshops in more places. Eventually, I would like to conduct field research of the vague language use among American deaf and hearing people and how interpreters convey vague language between the two languages and cultures.
Specialties: Conference interpreting, medical interpreting, business interpreting, oral and sign transliteration, video interpreting, mentoring, case supervision, interpreter training, genre recognition, and interpreting vague language.
