This document outlines Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences which identifies 9 different types of intelligence: verbal-linguistic, logical-mathematical, musical, visual-spatial, bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, naturalist, and existential. Each type is defined by a specific capacity or skill such as verbal skills, logical thinking, visual thinking, physical coordination, understanding others, self-awareness, nature recognition, and grappling with philosophical questions.
