Preface: Flash is dead
Not true yet, but standards based web will be awesome
For now, flash is still ubiquitous - great for advertising sites
Gaia:
Forget the future, use this now
for full flash sites
flash standards
problem:
creative-driven flash from an agency
idea ->iterate
know what they want, not how to do it
get idea right, then need to build the site around it
my experience: same patterns emerged
I found myself using the same things over and over
started looking for some code
