Change a Child's Life with the Power of 3

 1. 1. Change the life of a child in need with The Power of 3 www.distressedchildren.org
 2. 2. What is the Power of 3? • The 'Power of 3’ is a simple and powerful way to involve our youth in charity work. It’s perfect for students who want to get involved in helping others. • In this project, a youth volunteer and two friends create a team of three. • The first step to make the team is for one child to take the initiative and act as a role model. Then he or she can inspire friends to get involved in the project. • Each child saves just $5 per month to help a child in need, changing that child’s future forever!
 3. 3.

By educating American children and young adults about world issues, the ‘Power of 3’ project will build an understanding of our differences while fostering the realization that we all have the same basic rights and needs.

The ‘Power of 3’ project seeks to motivate our youth toward new and higher levels of compassion and generosity. Participation will teach them to understand people, ask questions and question answers, think outside the box, and take responsibility for their world.

The program will also teach skills for organization, management, and working in a small team. Team members learn how to motivate others and how to take responsibility for change, helping them become compassionate world citizens.
