One of the natural assets of some people is their body build or physique. This can be measured and the result is known as your SOMATOTYPE. There are 3 somatotypes. ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],Each of us is likely to be predominant in one or another of these.

Various body measurements are needed in order to work out your somatotype and together with your age and gender, these scores are read from a chart. The measurements taken are for: ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object]

A score out of 7 will then be given in the following categories: ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],So a persons somatotype might be 2:6:2. this would mean: 2/7 for fat, 6/7 for muscle and 2/7 for thinness.
