This document summarizes a case using the Guide Right surgical guide system to place two dental implants. A diagnostic guide was fabricated with guide posts and sleeves to evaluate the planned implant positions using CT scans. The guide was adjusted based on the evaluation, with one post offset lingually by 0.5mm and one bent 6 degrees lingually with a 1mm buccal offset. A surgical guide was then fabricated and used to drill and place the implants, which were verified to match the planned positions on follow-up CT scans. The case demonstrates the Guide Right system's ability to accurately plan and place dental implants.
4. The angles of the guide posts were made semi-parallel to the adjacent
natural teeth. However, the angles are not too critical for the
DIAGNOSTIC guide, as they most likely will need to be corrected.

3 X 8 mm guide sleeves are placed over the guide posts.
6. Undercuts were blocked out and petroleum jelly was used to lubricate the cast.
Triad® Gel was added to the brackets of the guide sleeves and the adjacent
teeth to form the body of the DIAGNOSTIC guide.
7. Facial view of fabricated template.
The DIAGNOSTIC guide is now ready to be
placed in the patient for a Cone Beam X-ray.
