24. Every little helps.
No matter how small your decision-making it is better than no decision or
relying entirely on regulation. It’s also better to talk to your household
before becoming a one person advocate.

25. Read your EPC.
An energy performance certificate contains everything inherently fixable
about your home. It was given to you in your rental pack / buyers pack.
Dig it out.

26. Avoid the ‘rebound effect’.
Just because you’re doing good, be aware of how much you spend, keep
yourself literate on the data you produce, find out what the National Grid
is made of, don’t lose sight of what your home is made of.

27. Yes it’s all terribly expensive.
And yes the government should help pay for this. But it’s complicated.

28. Think about what your habits are now and
what they’ll be later.
Save money for insulation, solar panels,
smart plug chargers or change your habits.
Get an EPC.
