Cost Classification
Cost classification is the process of grouping costs according to their common characteristics. A
suitable classification
of costs is of vital importance in order to identify the cost with cost centres or cost units. Cost may
be classified
accounting to their nature, i.e., material, labor and expenses and a number of other characteristics.
The same cost figures
are classified according to different ways of costing depending upon the purpose to be achieved and
requirements of
particular concern. The important ways of classification are:
On the basis of Identity: According to this classification, the costs are divided into there categories
i.e., Materials,
Labor and Expenses. There can be further sub–classification of...show more content...
(a) Controllable Cost: These costs are regulated or controlled by specified member of an
organisation. Most of the variable
costs are controllable. Generally direct material, direct labor and direct expenses are controlled by
the lower level of
the management.
(b) Uncontrollable Cost: These costs can not be regulated or controlled by specified member of an
undertaking. Most of the
fixed costs are uncontrollable. Example of uncontrollable costs are, factory rent, managers salary etc.
On the basis of normality: On this basis the costs have been classified in to two categories as.
(a) Normal cost: It is the cost which is normally incurred at a given level of out put. These costs are
part of cost
production.
(b) Abnormal cost: It is the cost which is not normally incurred at a given level of out put. These
costs are not charged
to the cost of production. It is transferred to the costing profit and loss account.
On the basis of Time: On this basis the costs have been classified as
(a) Historical Cost: These costs are ascertained after they have been incurred such costs are available
only when the
production of a particular thing has already been done.
(b) Pre–determined Cost: Pre–determined costs are estimated costs which are set in advance on a
scientific way. It becomes
standard cost and compared with the actual for adopting controlling measures.

COLLEGE TEACHERS
The positive teachers are by far the most agreeable teachers. A positive teacher is one who seems
interested in his subject and his students. The first thing a positive teacher does is try to learn all
of the student's names. This kind of teacher allows for questions and discussions in class and does
not seem to mind if a student disagrees with him. A positive teacher shows his interest out of class
as well. Not only is he available for conferences, but he encourages students to see him if they need
help. The students tend to feel comfortable in the presence of this teacher. A good example of a
positive teacher is my French teacher, Monsieur Poirrot. He always allows time during the class

The negative teacher is too often inflexible; in fact, he seems more like a machine than a human
being. Fortunately, this group is in the minority.
Before I came to college, I was told not to expect my professors to care much about me or my
work; indeed, I was told that I would be lucky if any of them even knew my name! But when I came
to university, I soon learned that these generalizations were too broad. Not all the teachers are the
same. In fact, I have found that most of the professors here at State fall into three categories: the
positive teachers, the neutral teachers, and the negative teachers.
The type of teacher students get can directly affect how much they learn. Obviously, students learn
more from a positive teacher; unfortunately, as we have seen, this type makes the minority. Since the
mission of the university is to educate, administrators should try to get the neutral and negative
teachers to improve their teaching methods and attitudes; otherwise, the administrators should
consider dismissing at least the negative teachers and make every effort to hire those teachers who
show promise of being positive ones.
Unlike the positive teachers, the neutral teachers are not very agreeable. In general, the neutral
teachers just do not seem interested in either the subject or the student. These teachers usually do not
learn all of the student's names, though they may learn a few. Their classes tend to be more boring
than the

Many people have different likings on pets. Some people like dogs, some people like cats, and
others may like hamsters. It all depends on the person. In my opinion, I think that dogs are best
because they are very loving and loyal.
Dogs are my favorite types of pets because they are very loyal and friendly animals. When my dog
starts to lick me or when she jumps on my bed with me I immediately start petting her and hugging
her. She always follows my directions, and it is very fun to teach her new tricks! If I tell her to sit or
roll down, she does what is asked of her to do. My dog is also very loyal like I have mentioned
before. She also likes to run and walk with me. My dog also loves when I take her to the dog park to
play with other dogs. Dogs especially love to take naps with their owners.

They help people who are in need, and they are very fun to play with as well! Dogs are also there for
you no matter what mood you are in. Overall, I would rather a dog over any other pet because a dog
is easy to maintain and a lot more effective when it comes to security and my family's protection.
Many times, my dog alerts me when somebody arrives at my house by barking and running
around. My dog is also very protective of its territory when another animal intrudes. I will
strongly recommend that you do some research on different types of breeds of dogs, so you can
have an idea of what type of dog will be most suitable for you. Learning these facts beforehand will
be very helpful to you before you make your final decision. Reputable pet shops usually have a wide
variety of dogs along with a knowledgeable staff that can guide you properly before you commit.
Don't forget to ask your parents first! Good luck on selecting the proper dog for your

Ainsworth Classification System
Many variables contribute to the formation of an attachment between child and caregiver. Ainsworth
(1964) developed a classification system that categorized attachment into three types; secure,
avoidant, and ambivalent attachment, each characterized by the mother's typical behavior towards
the child and the child's reaction to the mother. For example, mothers of securely attached children
rate higher on scales of sensitivity, acceptance, cooperation, and emotional accessibility All of these
outcomes indicate that secure attachment results in healthy family and peer relationships as well as,
high self–esteem for the child (Bowlby, 1988). Conversely, the mothers of insecurely attached
children display behaviors that range from chaotic or inconsistent

Classification Essay, Aircraft
What Are Aircraft?
Everyone has seen a jet streaking across the sky leaving a trail of vapor as it goes. Maybe you
have heard the distinct thud, thud, thud as a helicopter slows in its descent. You have probably
marveled at a plane so massive that it seems to just hang in the air by some invisible force. These
wonderful marvels of human engineering have captured the hearts of many. They are known the
world over as aircraft. But what is an aircraft? Aircraft's are comprised of many different things and
fly in many different ways but they all have one very distinct thing in common with one another.
They carry passengers through the air.
A jet can be defined as an aircraft because it carries passengers through the air. Jets are composed of

Gliders look very similar to airplanes with a spinning prop, but there are two things that you
would know were different just by looking at it. There is no engine and the wings are incredibly
massive, spanning 3 to 4 times greater than a conventional airplane. Gliders achieve lift by doing
exactly what the name entails, it glides. With no prop, or jet engine, gliders travel through the air
propelled by the wind itself. They are usually launched from a relatively high altitude off the side of
a mountain, where they can catch updrafts and drift silently through the air. Even with these very
distinct differences gliders are still aircraft. They carry passengers through the air. Now let us look at
something that resembles none of the above; the helicopter.
Helicopters are also aircraft. Even though they look absolutely nothing like a jet or an airplane they
still carry passengers through the air. Helicopters have three main features that allow them to fly.
The fuselage allows the helicopter to carry its passengers. The main rotor creates lift and allows the
pilot to steer by changing the blade angles. And the tail rotor: which negates the torque created by
the main rotor. It all comes together and allows us to fly, making it an aircraft. And finally the most
unlikely aircraft, the hot air balloon. Hot air balloons are also defined as an aircraft. Hot air balloons
have only one thing in common with the rest of these examples. They carry

Anatomic success was defined as the presence of a flat or closed MH 1 month postoperatively
confirmed by biomicroscopy.(18) All patients provided written informed consent after they received
a detailed explanation of the surgical procedure and SD–OCT follow–up examinations. Our retina

Essay on Negative Effects of Stress
Effects of Stress Everyone experiences stress daily. It may not be as evident in some people as it is
in othesr, but that is due to the severity of the stress and how well an individual can cope with
stress. High levels of stress cause an individual's personality to change in that when one is stressed
out, that person cannot stop thinking about situations or feelings which in turn causes mood swings,
depression and insomnia. Mood swings associated with stress are due to the lack of tolerance for
any given subject. According to Native remedies, mood swings only suggest that something is out of
balance or physically wrong (n.d). When an individual is stresses they always have something on
their mind and they are always thinking about...show more content...
A common state one may snap into is depression. Depression is usually caused by something
negative that has occurred in an individual's life. Some events that can cause depression are death,
loss of job or even a relationship breakup. (HealingResources.info, n.d) These are all events that
cause the individual to think about either that present event or to think about events in the past
that were difficult to overcome. This stage of thinking is a catalyst for depression. All these
thoughts will cause the individual to feel sorry for themselves and fall into the state of
depression. Stress is a big factor for the cause of depression because it forces on to think about
difficult decisions they have faced or are currently facing. In addition to depression, stress is also a
major factor with insomnia. Insomnia, which is the inability to sleep, is the most common effect of
stress. Insomnia is or will be experienced by one third of today's population at some point in their
lives. (Health– Concern Staff Writer, n.d.). Insomnia is usually caused when one cannot stop
thinking. An individual will attempt to fall asleep but will be unable to due to all the thoughts racing
through their mind which is usually caused by stress. Therefore, insomnia is a stress induced
symptom that most of the population will experience due to the incapability to allow the mind to
relax. Stress is emotional and physical tensions which takes a toll on an individual's

Classification Of Cultures Essays
Culture is a hot topic. Scholars (Fukoyama, Huntington, to mention but two) disagree about whether
this is the end of history or the beginning of a particularly nasty chapter of it.
What makes cultures tick and why some of them tick discernibly better than others – is the main
bone of contention.
We can view cultures through the prism of their attitude towards their constituents : the individuals
they are comprised of. More so, we can classify them in accordance with their approach towards
"humanness", the experience of being human.
Some cultures are evidently anthropocentric – others are anthropo–transcendental. These two lingual
coins need elaboration to be fully comprehended.
A culture which cherishes the human potential...show more content...
A culture can be described by using a few axes :
Distinguishing versus Consuming cultures
Some cultures give weight and presence (though not necessarily equal) to each of their constituent
elements (the individual and social structures). Each such element is idiosyncratic and unique. Such
cultures would accentuate attention to details, private enterprise, initiative, innovation,
entrepreneurship, inventiveness, youth, status symbols, consumption, money, creativity, art, science
and technology.
These are the things that distinguish one individual from another.
Other cultures engulf their constituents, assimilate them to the point of consumption. They are
deemed, a priori, to be redundant, their worth a function of their actual contribution to the whole.
Such cultures emphasize generalizations, stereotypes, conformity, consensus, belonging, social
structures, procedures, forms, undertakings involving the labour or other input of human masses.
Future versus Past Oriented Cultures
Some cultures look to the past – real or imaginary – for inspiration, motivation, sustenance, hope,
guidance and direction. These cultures tend to direct their efforts and resources and invest them in
what IS. They are, therefore, bound to be materialistic, figurative, substantive, earthly.
They are likely to prefer old

My Favorite Class Essay
My favorite classes this year were Mrs. Menzel's two english classes. I have learned so much
about myself as a reader, student, and an intellectual. Through both of her classes, we were given
endless amounts of opportunity. What I mean by this is, we got to choose our own topics to
study, books to read, and subjects to write about. We were truly treated like adults, which in my
eyes, helped prepare us for the "real world". Her willingness to let us grow as individuals was
very inspiring, because she believed that we could do it on our own, with a little push whenever
we needed it. I have gotten the chance to discover that I actually enjoy reading! Specifically, I
discovered that Jodi Picoult might be my favorite author as of now. Also, I realized that writing is
one of my favorite things to do, it is a passion of mine and I hope I can continue it somehow with
the career that I choose.
Personally, her two classes have helped me grow as a speaker, writer, and reader. In her CCC
class, I was able to write a profile on my dad, which really strengthened my relationship with him.
After printing him a copy, and seeing tears in his eyes made me very grateful for this experience
to share with him how much of a role model he is to me. In her English Lit class, I was able to ask
my grandma and mom what books they would recommend for me. Having these conversations
with them made their hearts warm, since I was showing interest in books for once (they are both
book lovers). Her class pushed me to be the best that I can, and it wasn't for the grade that I got. It
was for learning about myself, and what I was capable of. That's when I learned that her classes
are actually changing me as a student. For an example, when I was working on a project, I wasn't
basing every single sentence on what the rubric told me to do. I was branching out and working on
it because I truly wanted to learn more about the topic and put my all into it.
Thankfully, I have matured a great amount as a student because of Mrs. Menzel and her life
lessons through teaching, and by just being herself. I truly feel ready for college now because of
Mrs. Menzel, and I am grateful for that. This year, I changed my intended major from Business to
Education,

Sports Classification Essay
Performing three different sports each year in high school, I notice all types of people that come
watch an athletic contest. To me, fans separate into three different types: the attention–getters, the
true–supporters, and the entertainment–seekers. Looking into the stands during a competition, many
players divide onlookers into these categories right away. These groups all seem to fill the stands
and bring an exciting atmosphere to the game, spectators, and even the players.
The first group mentioned, the attention–getters always bring a show of their own. These fans stir
things up unruly with not only their verbal language but their body language towards the players,
referees, and coaches. They attend these games to obtain a good time by dressing up and usually
hanging out with friends. Even though these fans come to most of the games, they usually yell

They attend with some knowledge of the sport and know a few of the key players. They generally
understand the sport but do not get worked up if the calls from the referees may not go into their
favor. They enjoy the wins even if they do not affect them. They generally root for either team, they
come just for the love of the sport, in which makes them laid back spectators. The
entertainment–seekers usually stay calm, get easily distracted by the attention–getter, and gain
knowledge about the game from the true–supporter in the crowd.
The true–supporters and the entertainment–seekers make the playing of the game worthy, while the
attention–getters make the game hectic. After the game, the fans make the loss a little easier and the
win a whole lot sweeter. Even though the different types of people seem very obvious the game
would not be a competition without the blending of the entertainment–seekers, the attention–getter,
and the true–supporters all doing their

"Roommates"
Reza Hossaini
How different we are! We deal with different people. These people can be our neighbors, class
fellows, our friends or they can be our roommates. If I speak about my roommates, first I will
categorize them into different groups. However roommates include people or students who come
from different places, provinces or even from different countries so in this case they are
categorized into various divisions. Generally in my point of view, roommates are classified into
three diverse sorts in terms of their behavior, ethic or morality, merit and as bellow;

Roommates in this kind are reliable, sometimes joking, not too much speaking, and a little bit
serious. They don't like to joke too much or if you joke with them, they will get serious soon. They
are irascible in joking so you always cannot be kidding with them.
As I said, interestingly, in our dormitory the only room which has different kinds of roommates is
our room. It is such that other students call our room as "room of diversity". It's the name that
they ascribed to us because we have almost all categories of roommates from different provinces
with various nationalities. For instance, Sebqatulla one of my roommates is from Herat. Due to
having some described characteristics of this class, he fits in the second category. He is serious
when we speak to him with a serious tone and he is witty and joking when we do so. In a single
word he, adjusts and fits himself in the any environment he locates.
Another kind of roommates is conservative roommates. They are so careful about their relations
with other people and students. Especially they care how to behave with their roommates.
Roommates who include in this category are conservative and much cautious in terms of how to get
relation and how his or her other roommates should behave with them. In our room I may go to this
category of roommates. I am not that good a joker and get serious soon that is why my roommates
don't joke much with me. Once my roommate

Classification Essay: Types Of Hunting
11/3/13
Types Of Hunting
The many great things about hunting is not only the calmness of the wilderness and the rush of
being so close to many wild animals. There are many different ways to hunt. I am going to classify
the four types of hunting: shotgun, rifle, muzzleloader, and bow and arrow. The reason I am
classifying this is because most people just think of hunting as a verb and don't know that there are so
many different ways to go about hunting.
Hunting with a shotgun
First of all I am going to describe what exactly a shotgun is. A shotgun is designed to be fired from
the shoulder. The shotgun fires a shell that holds numerous spherical pellets, also called shot when
buying them from stores they are classified by the amount of...show more content...
With your rifle aimed right behind its' shoulder you gently squeeze the trigger. The loudness of the
gun wakes everything up in the used to be calm nature, but only for a second. Then you get to go and
check out your deer that you've been waiting months to take down. And that's what hunting deer with
a rifle is like. Rifle hunting is much different then the other types of hunting just cause everything is
so calm and quite.
Hunting with a muzzleloader
A muzzleloader is a gun somewhat similar to a rifle, yet much more complicated and difficult to
hunt with. I found an article by Gary Hubbell that will help me get started in explaining what hunting
with a muzzleloader is like.
Muzzleloaders are the weapons that Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone carried afield with them during
their bear hunts, Indian fights, and battles. Today there are two basic types of muzzleloaders used
for hunting–primitive and in–line. Both are based upon the premise that the shooter pours powder
down the end of the gun barrel, and then rams a slug or ball down on top of it to load the gun.
This type of hunting is one of the two most difficult ways to hunt. The difficulty of hunting this way
is not a bad thing. Most people like the difficulty just to make the rush of the hunt that much more
intense. As you pull the trigger on your muzzleloader the ignition is not instantaneous like shooting
a shotgun or a rifle. You have to hold steady as you pull the trigger for about a second or more while

Classification Essay Students
Being a student in today's society holds an immense amount of pressure to do one thing: graduate.
Thirteen years of school prepare students for the next major steps of their lives. Every student faces
many struggles and frustrations before graduation day arrives. One may be able to surmise a few
details about a student before they put pencil to paper or even speak. One can also make assumptions
about a student based on his or her seating position. Motivation, determination, and concentration
will establish a student's amount of success. The three categories of high school students are
underachievers, average students, and overachievers.

They may not stand out in class, but their work is always completed. These students view extra
credit opportunities as a waste of time. These mediocre scholars are also the ones who believe that
Wikipedia is among the greatest inventions of all time, while turnitin.com is not. Students who
contain these characteristics make up the most common category.
The final group of students are the overachievers. They sit prim and proper in the front row raising
their eager hands. These workaholics are the ones whom teachers adore and whom fellow students
despise. They often exceed the expectations of any teachers. They constantly work hard and are
active in class. They take notes verbatim of what the teacher says, excel in group discussions, and
much to the demise of the other students, raise the academic bar to an unattainable level. Although
they are not often the greatest athletes, or the best at communicating with the opposite gender, they
separate themselves with their cerebral work ethic. These scholars find reading entertaining, and
would much rather solve a Rubik's cube than run a mile. One of them will be inevitably become
Valedictorian, and will give a speech at the podium come graduation day. When analyzing these
students, one could be looking at future doctors, engineers, and various activists.

Classification of Organisms Essay
Taxonomy is the study of the classification of organisms, it is the organization (separation) of all the
known organisms into groups based on their shared features, these groups are then organized into
further, larger groups. These groups are all referred to as Taxa (Taxon– singular). The taxa used in
taxonomy are: Species, Genus, Family, Order, Class, Phylum and kingdom, each group getting larger
going form species to kingdom.

The relation between Phylogeny and Classification
Phylogeny is the evolutionary history of a species, it is a valuable biological mechanism used to
determine what genus a species may fall into, as species which have very similar (homologous)
features can be assumed to have evolved from the same common ancestors, e.g. horses donkeys and
zebras all have homologous features and can all be filed under the genus Equus.
Artificial selection
Humans have also had a hand in how many of the animals we see every day are the way they are.
Take Dogs for example, they have been bred to produce a wide variety of qualities that we find
desirable in them, and these can be behavioural, or physical properties. Guard dogs have been bred
to have phenotypes such as broad shoulders, heavy build and they also have been selectively bred to
be aggressive and territorial other dogs, such as terriers have been bred to be small and fairly docile,
ideal qualities for a house pet.
In this case Humans have taken the place of natural selection for the dogs, to tailor them to our
requirements. Desirable phenotypes which are recognized in the

The two general rules that have kept me safe in the Canadian Rockies for the past 20 years are:
1.Use common sense and always give notice of your location – Make noise every 100 meters or so
and especially when rounding a corner or coming up to thick bush. Black & grizzly bears avoid
human contact and alerting them before a human intrusion gives them enough time to retreat, most

Use common sense and don't attract bears. Black, grizzly and polar bears have excellent sense of
smell and can sniff out food from over a kilometer away. Don't attract bears to you with tempting
smells.
I am not a bear expert, ecologist or even an adventure guide. I'm just a regular weekend warrior
who loves to discover Canada and have seen all three types of bears in their natural territory. Bears
can be found across all of Canada except for the southern prairies, southern Ontario & Prince Edward
Island.
The two rules mentioned above are what I use all the time when hiking, camping & boating (yes,
bears can swim). Giving these intelligent creatures the room and respect that they deserve has
prevented me from getting into a bear attack. However, if such an unfortunate escalation happens,
knowing how to survive a bear attack is vital knowledge in the back–country.
Black Bears are the smallest of the bears in Canada and are more scavengers than hunters. They are
opportunistic when it comes to food (and garbage). They lack the massive shoulder hump of muscle
that characterizes the grizzly Bear.
Black bears in Canada can be black, brown or white–ish in colour. They are not endangered and
estimated put their numbers at around 600,000 in North America. The white Spirit bear, or
Kermode bear, is actually a black bear and can not mate with the grizzly or polar

Plagiarism – Three Types of Cheaters
"Fools make researches and wise men exploit them." Merriam–Webster's dictionary defines the word
plagiarize as to pass off as one's own the ideas or words of another. Every student knows that
plagiarism is dishonest and wrong. Why do so many students do it? Students themselves may not
believe that they are plagiarizing. Many students plagiarize because of the diverse types of plagiarism
which are often unknown to students. The three major types of plagiarism are shameless, haphazard
and self–plagiarism. Self–plagiarism is a relatively new concept that has not gained much attention in
the student world.
Shameless plagiarists are the ones who go through their entire academic career passing off...show

Her son, completely happy with the re–writes, feels that he is not partaking in any form of
plagiarism because she has always done this for him. His mother does not feel that her son is
plagiarizing because she approves her son using the "proof–read" essays even though the essays are
not his original work.
Throughout Carondelet High School, students can be found, for a price, who are willing to write
other students' essays. The "brains," as they are labeled at the school, do not feel that those who turn
in the essays are plagiarizing. Essays are tailor–made for the students who pay the "brains."
Therefore, according to the "brains," submitting those essays is not a form of plagiarism. The
"brains" feel that payment for their services of writing the papers can be easily compared to the
President's speech writers. The speech writer creates the perfect speech for the President, who in
turn reads it to the country as his own words. The speech writers are paid for their services. In the
loosest sense of the word, plagiarism is the passing off of one's work or ideas as your own. A "brain"
remarked, "If the President is not a plagiarist then neither are the students who pay for my work!"
Shameless plagiarists place all their faith in their source for the papers. They rely and completely
depend on the person who wrote the paper. Shameless plagiarists do not feel guilt because they
actually believe that they are not doing anything

Writing A Classification Essay

  • 1. Cost Classification Cost classification is the process of grouping costs according to their common characteristics. A suitable classification of costs is of vital importance in order to identify the cost with cost centres or cost units. Cost may be classified accounting to their nature, i.e., material, labor and expenses and a number of other characteristics. The same cost figures are classified according to different ways of costing depending upon the purpose to be achieved and requirements of particular concern. The important ways of classification are: On the basis of Identity: According to this classification, the costs are divided into there categories i.e., Materials, Labor and Expenses. There can be further sub–classification of...show more content... (a) Controllable Cost: These costs are regulated or controlled by specified member of an organisation. Most of the variable costs are controllable. Generally direct material, direct labor and direct expenses are controlled by the lower level of the management. (b) Uncontrollable Cost: These costs can not be regulated or controlled by specified member of an undertaking. Most of the fixed costs are uncontrollable. Example of uncontrollable costs are, factory rent, managers salary etc. On the basis of normality: On this basis the costs have been classified in to two categories as. (a) Normal cost: It is the cost which is normally incurred at a given level of out put. These costs are part of cost production. (b) Abnormal cost: It is the cost which is not normally incurred at a given level of out put. These costs are not charged

On the basis of Time: On this basis the costs have been classified as (a) Historical Cost: These costs are ascertained after they have been incurred such costs are available only when the production of a particular thing has already been done. • 3. Classification Essay A SAMPLE CLASSIFICATION ESSAY COLLEGE TEACHERS The positive teachers are by far the most agreeable teachers. A positive teacher is one who seems interested in his subject and his students. The first thing a positive teacher does is try to learn all of the student's names. This kind of teacher allows for questions and discussions in class and does not seem to mind if a student disagrees with him. A positive teacher shows his interest out of class as well. Not only is he available for conferences, but he encourages students to see him if they need help. The students tend to feel comfortable in the presence of this teacher. A good example of a positive teacher is my French teacher, Monsieur Poirrot. He always allows time during the class ...show more content... The negative teacher is too often inflexible; in fact, he seems more like a machine than a human being. Fortunately, this group is in the minority. Before I came to college, I was told not to expect my professors to care much about me or my work; indeed, I was told that I would be lucky if any of them even knew my name! But when I came to university, I soon learned that these generalizations were too broad. Not all the teachers are the same. In fact, I have found that most of the professors here at State fall into three categories: the positive teachers, the neutral teachers, and the negative teachers. The type of teacher students get can directly affect how much they learn. Obviously, students learn more from a positive teacher; unfortunately, as we have seen, this type makes the minority. Since the mission of the university is to educate, administrators should try to get the neutral and negative teachers to improve their teaching methods and attitudes; otherwise, the administrators should consider dismissing at least the negative teachers and make every effort to hire those teachers who show promise of being positive ones. Unlike the positive teachers, the neutral teachers are not very agreeable. In general, the neutral teachers just do not seem interested in either the subject or the student. These teachers usually do not learn all of the student's names, though they may learn a few. Their classes tend to be more boring than the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Many people have different likings on pets. Some people like dogs, some people like cats, and others may like hamsters. It all depends on the person. In my opinion, I think that dogs are best because they are very loving and loyal. Dogs are my favorite types of pets because they are very loyal and friendly animals. When my dog starts to lick me or when she jumps on my bed with me I immediately start petting her and hugging her. She always follows my directions, and it is very fun to teach her new tricks! If I tell her to sit or roll down, she does what is asked of her to do. My dog is also very loyal like I have mentioned before. She also likes to run and walk with me. My dog also loves when I take her to the dog park to play with other dogs. Dogs especially love to take naps with their owners. Dogs are very calm animals, and they miss you when you get home from school or work! They will jump on you and start licking you like you have...show more content... They help people who are in need, and they are very fun to play with as well! Dogs are also there for you no matter what mood you are in. Overall, I would rather a dog over any other pet because a dog is easy to maintain and a lot more effective when it comes to security and my family's protection. Many times, my dog alerts me when somebody arrives at my house by barking and running around. My dog is also very protective of its territory when another animal intrudes. I will strongly recommend that you do some research on different types of breeds of dogs, so you can have an idea of what type of dog will be most suitable for you. Learning these facts beforehand will be very helpful to you before you make your final decision. Reputable pet shops usually have a wide variety of dogs along with a knowledgeable staff that can guide you properly before you commit. Don't forget to ask your parents first! Good luck on selecting the proper dog for your Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Ainsworth (1964) developed a classification system that categorized attachment into three types; secure, avoidant, and ambivalent attachment, each characterized by the mother's typical behavior towards the child and the child's reaction to the mother. For example, mothers of securely attached children rate higher on scales of sensitivity, acceptance, cooperation, and emotional accessibility All of these outcomes indicate that secure attachment results in healthy family and peer relationships as well as, high self–esteem for the child (Bowlby, 1988). Conversely, the mothers of insecurely attached children display behaviors that range from chaotic or inconsistent Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Classification Essay, Aircraft What Are Aircraft? Everyone has seen a jet streaking across the sky leaving a trail of vapor as it goes. Maybe you have heard the distinct thud, thud, thud as a helicopter slows in its descent. You have probably marveled at a plane so massive that it seems to just hang in the air by some invisible force. These wonderful marvels of human engineering have captured the hearts of many. They are known the world over as aircraft. But what is an aircraft? Aircraft's are comprised of many different things and fly in many different ways but they all have one very distinct thing in common with one another. They carry passengers through the air. A jet can be defined as an aircraft because it carries passengers through the air. Jets are composed of ...show more content... Gliders look very similar to airplanes with a spinning prop, but there are two things that you would know were different just by looking at it. There is no engine and the wings are incredibly massive, spanning 3 to 4 times greater than a conventional airplane. Gliders achieve lift by doing exactly what the name entails, it glides. With no prop, or jet engine, gliders travel through the air propelled by the wind itself. They are usually launched from a relatively high altitude off the side of a mountain, where they can catch updrafts and drift silently through the air. Even with these very distinct differences gliders are still aircraft. They carry passengers through the air. Now let us look at something that resembles none of the above; the helicopter. Helicopters are also aircraft. Even though they look absolutely nothing like a jet or an airplane they still carry passengers through the air. Helicopters have three main features that allow them to fly. The fuselage allows the helicopter to carry its passengers. The main rotor creates lift and allows the pilot to steer by changing the blade angles. And the tail rotor: which negates the torque created by the main rotor. It all comes together and allows us to fly, making it an aircraft. And finally the most unlikely aircraft, the hot air balloon. Hot air balloons are also defined as an aircraft. Hot air balloons have only one thing in common with the rest of these examples. They carry Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 8. Essay on Negative Effects of Stress Effects of Stress Everyone experiences stress daily. It may not be as evident in some people as it is in othesr, but that is due to the severity of the stress and how well an individual can cope with stress. High levels of stress cause an individual's personality to change in that when one is stressed out, that person cannot stop thinking about situations or feelings which in turn causes mood swings, depression and insomnia. Mood swings associated with stress are due to the lack of tolerance for any given subject. According to Native remedies, mood swings only suggest that something is out of balance or physically wrong (n.d). Depression is usually caused by something negative that has occurred in an individual's life. Some events that can cause depression are death, loss of job or even a relationship breakup. (HealingResources.info, n.d) These are all events that cause the individual to think about either that present event or to think about events in the past that were difficult to overcome. This stage of thinking is a catalyst for depression. All these thoughts will cause the individual to feel sorry for themselves and fall into the state of depression. Stress is a big factor for the cause of depression because it forces on to think about difficult decisions they have faced or are currently facing. In addition to depression, stress is also a major factor with insomnia. Insomnia, which is the inability to sleep, is the most common effect of stress. Insomnia is or will be experienced by one third of today's population at some point in their lives. (Health– Concern Staff Writer, n.d.). Insomnia is usually caused when one cannot stop thinking. • 9. Classification Of Cultures Essays Culture is a hot topic. Scholars (Fukoyama, Huntington, to mention but two) disagree about whether this is the end of history or the beginning of a particularly nasty chapter of it. What makes cultures tick and why some of them tick discernibly better than others – is the main bone of contention. We can view cultures through the prism of their attitude towards their constituents : the individuals they are comprised of. More so, we can classify them in accordance with their approach towards "humanness", the experience of being human. Some cultures are evidently anthropocentric – others are anthropo–transcendental. These two lingual coins need elaboration to be fully comprehended. A culture which cherishes the human potential...show more content... A culture can be described by using a few axes : Distinguishing versus Consuming cultures Some cultures give weight and presence (though not necessarily equal) to each of their constituent elements (the individual and social structures). Each such element is idiosyncratic and unique. Such cultures would accentuate attention to details, private enterprise, initiative, innovation, entrepreneurship, inventiveness, youth, status symbols, consumption, money, creativity, art, science and technology. These are the things that distinguish one individual from another. Other cultures engulf their constituents, assimilate them to the point of consumption. They are deemed, a priori, to be redundant, their worth a function of their actual contribution to the whole. Such cultures emphasize generalizations, stereotypes, conformity, consensus, belonging, social structures, procedures, forms, undertakings involving the labour or other input of human masses. Future versus Past Oriented Cultures Some cultures look to the past – real or imaginary – for inspiration, motivation, sustenance, hope, guidance and direction. These cultures tend to direct their efforts and resources and invest them in what IS. They are, therefore, bound to be materialistic, figurative, substantive, earthly. They are likely to prefer old

  • 11. My Favorite Class Essay My favorite classes this year were Mrs. Menzel's two english classes. I have learned so much about myself as a reader, student, and an intellectual. Through both of her classes, we were given endless amounts of opportunity. What I mean by this is, we got to choose our own topics to study, books to read, and subjects to write about. We were truly treated like adults, which in my eyes, helped prepare us for the "real world". Her willingness to let us grow as individuals was very inspiring, because she believed that we could do it on our own, with a little push whenever we needed it. I have gotten the chance to discover that I actually enjoy reading! Specifically, I discovered that Jodi Picoult might be my favorite author as of now. Also, I realized that writing is one of my favorite things to do, it is a passion of mine and I hope I can continue it somehow with the career that I choose. Personally, her two classes have helped me grow as a speaker, writer, and reader. In her CCC class, I was able to write a profile on my dad, which really strengthened my relationship with him. After printing him a copy, and seeing tears in his eyes made me very grateful for this experience to share with him how much of a role model he is to me. In her English Lit class, I was able to ask my grandma and mom what books they would recommend for me. Having these conversations with them made their hearts warm, since I was showing interest in books for once (they are both book lovers). Her class pushed me to be the best that I can, and it wasn't for the grade that I got. It was for learning about myself, and what I was capable of. That's when I learned that her classes are actually changing me as a student. For an example, when I was working on a project, I wasn't basing every single sentence on what the rubric told me to do. I was branching out and working on it because I truly wanted to learn more about the topic and put my all into it. Thankfully, I have matured a great amount as a student because of Mrs. Menzel and her life lessons through teaching, and by just being herself. I truly feel ready for college now because of Mrs. Menzel, and I am grateful for that. This year, I changed my intended major from Business to Education, Get more content on HelpWriting.net

To me, fans separate into three different types: the attention–getters, the true–supporters, and the entertainment–seekers. Looking into the stands during a competition, many players divide onlookers into these categories right away. These groups all seem to fill the stands and bring an exciting atmosphere to the game, spectators, and even the players. The first group mentioned, the attention–getters always bring a show of their own. These fans stir things up unruly with not only their verbal language but their body language towards the players, referees, and coaches. The entertainment–seekers usually stay calm, get easily distracted by the attention–getter, and gain knowledge about the game from the true–supporter in the crowd. The true–supporters and the entertainment–seekers make the playing of the game worthy, while the attention–getters make the game hectic. It is such that other students call our room as "room of diversity". It's the name that they ascribed to us because we have almost all categories of roommates from different provinces with various nationalities. For instance, Sebqatulla one of my roommates is from Herat. Due to having some described characteristics of this class, he fits in the second category. He is serious when we speak to him with a serious tone and he is witty and joking when we do so. In a single word he, adjusts and fits himself in the any environment he locates. Another kind of roommates is conservative roommates. They are so careful about their relations with other people and students. Especially they care how to behave with their roommates. Roommates who include in this category are conservative and much cautious in terms of how to get relation and how his or her other roommates should behave with them. There are many different ways to hunt. I am going to classify the four types of hunting: shotgun, rifle, muzzleloader, and bow and arrow. Rifle hunting is much different then the other types of hunting just cause everything is so calm and quite. Hunting with a muzzleloader A muzzleloader is a gun somewhat similar to a rifle, yet much more complicated and difficult to hunt with. I found an article by Gary Hubbell that will help me get started in explaining what hunting with a muzzleloader is like. Muzzleloaders are the weapons that Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone carried afield with them during their bear hunts, Indian fights, and battles. Today there are two basic types of muzzleloaders used for hunting–primitive and in–line. Both are based upon the premise that the shooter pours powder down the end of the gun barrel, and then rams a slug or ball down on top of it to load the gun. This type of hunting is one of the two most difficult ways to hunt. The difficulty of hunting this way is not a bad thing. Most people like the difficulty just to make the rush of the hunt that much more intense. As you pull the trigger on your muzzleloader the ignition is not instantaneous like shooting a shotgun or a rifle. You have to hold steady as you pull the trigger for about a second or more while an Get more content on HelpWriting.net
