FIRST, THE PREPARATION Your proactiveness with reaching out and partnering with the vendor for the lunch and learns demonstrates your hunger for innovation and being client-first 1.  Invite vendors you see in the latest tied to the latest ad tech trends and announcements 2.  Have a prep meeting with the vendor to have tailor their presentation for your agency and accounts 3.  Request that the vendor also bring in someone who’s involved with product development

SECOND, DURING THE LUNCH AND LEARN Your willingness to help facilitate the meeting demonstrates the qualities of client-facing communication and leadership 1.  Be the one to introduce the vendor and explain why you’ve invited them 2.  Encourage group interaction by asking your peers questions 3.  Have 3 – 5 questions prepared to stand out with smart questions

LASTLY, AFTER THE LUNCH AND LEARN Your tenacity to transform the opportunities discussed into actual ideas that are executed demonstrates strategic-thinking and business acumen 1.  Compile and send out notes that includes a meeting summary, a copy of the presentation and actionable next steps 2.  Follow up with the vendor to have them provide their thoughts on a proof of concept to execute 3.  Think about what an agency-level bizdev opportunity could look like and share it with your senior management
