How to install a wordpress theme in local computer?

1. Procedure to install a wordpress theme in local computer
WAMP should be installed on your system first
1. Create a folder in wamp/www by any name (project name).
2. Copy the latest wordpress in that folder (extract wordpress-x.x.zip in it). Now copy the all the
contents of this in the main (project) folder.
Delete wordpress from it now.
3. Start Wamp and go to phpmyadmin.
4. Create a new database (usually the project name itself).
5. Now go to wamp Localhost project name
6. Create a create a config file Lets go
7. Now fill the fields as following:
Database Name: same as you created in step 4 (in case of server installation abc_xyz)
User Name: root (in case of server installation abc_pqr)
Password: Blank (in case of server installation put the password of your choice)
Database Host & Table prefix : Default
Then Submit
8. Run the install
9. Site Title: as per your wish (this will also become the © copyrights
Username: of your choice
Password: of your choice (twice)
Email: of your choice
May or may not allow search engines to index this site.
10. Login with: username Password
11. After login go to ‘Appearance’
12. Add new theme Upload (zip format only) Install Now from its location
13. Activate the new theme.
14. Customize.
15. Done! ☺
