- 13. Configuring the Digité-MS Outlook Plug-in After the Outlook setup wizard completes the installation, open MS Outlook application. The Digité-MS Outlook Plug-in Configuration wizard appears. On the User Details page, provide the credentials for authenticating.
- 14. Configuring the Digité-MS Outlook Plug-in Enter the Digité server where the Outlook plug-in should point to for synchronizing.

- 19. Using Digité-MS Outlook Features Your Outlook toolbar now displays the Digité-Ms Outlook Plug-in icons.
- 20. Digité-MS Outlook Plug-in Icons Click the Sync icon is to synchronize the Digité items. The latest tasks and contact details ( as configured) will be downloaded to Outlook from the Digité application. You can view them in the Tasks view. Click the Options icon to view and modify the user login details, task details, contact details, and proxy details. You can modify the mapping details of Digité Enterprise and Microsoft Outlook entities. Double-click the the required assignment, requirement, change management item listed in the Tasks view and click the Route icon to route . To route these items, ensure that the workflow is defined in Digité Enterprise. Click the Reject to reject the assignment, requirement, change management item listed in the Tasks view. To reject these items, ensure that the workflow is defined in Digité Enterprise. To view the list of Tasks from Digité, click the Tasks view in the left pane at the bottom in the Microsoft Outlook panel.

- Welcome to Digité’s MS Outlook Integration training.
- So lets get started. This is the sequence in which the training will flow.
- This training course is intended for Digité users such as, Project Managers, developers, testers, business Analysts, etc. who use the Digité Enterprise application.
- However, I would also recommend that you first complete the training courses that I have listed here before proceeding with this training course. Currently, Digité Enterprise system supports Microsoft Outlook 2002 and 2003 only.
- By the end of this training, you should be able to understand: Understand what will be the benefits using Digité-MS office Outlook plug-in In this Training, we will learn how to perform basic workflow operations in Digité such as routing and rejecting of project items from MS Outlook. We will also learn first learn how to configure MS Outlook to perform these operations.
- Let us first install the Outlook plug-in. The plug-in executable file is available in the Digité Enterprise.
- Log on to the Digité application. To download the plug-in using the link in the Utilities page. Click My Work Workspace and then click Utilities . Click the link to download the Microsoft Outlook plug-in. The File Download window is displayed. Click Open , to install the plug-in or click Save to save the file in a directory. you can then install the plug-in. Note: You need to first install Microsoft Outlook 2003 in you machine. Then you need to download and install the Microsoft Outlook plug-in.
- Let us now configure the Outlook plug-in. The plug-in executable file is available in the Digité Enterprise.
- 1. In the Digité User Details, enter the credentials for authenticating and the Digité Server to which Outlook should point to for synchronizing. The tasks and contact will be downloaded from this server and on routing/rejecting items, the Digité server will be updated.
- 2. Then provide the proxy server details as per your organization’s preferences, But this is optional. Click Next
- 1.. You can map the outlook fields with the required Digité Enterprise fields. From example, select 'Subject' in the Outlook Fields list and then select 'Item' in the Digité Fields list. So the Item title in Digité will appear in the subject of the Tasks view in Outlook. Click Next
