3. The Founder and Managing Director of DK Consultants, Dimitris Karavasilis
has successfully completed his studies in Business Administration and Inter-
national Marketing at the University of Sheffield and has attended numerous
specialized international seminars in marketing, export and sales. He has been
also participating as a guest speaker in several local, national and internation-
al conferences in the fields of Export Trade and International Marketing.
Dimitris Karavasilis is a Special Advisor
on International Trade issues at the
American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce
in Athens, Greece, and a member of the
Administrative Committee and of the Board
of Directors at the Greek International
Business Association (SEVE).
He has contributed to the establishment
of the National Trade Promotion Roadmap
and to the recrafting of the Greek Export
Strategy, by participating in the core team
of Dutch experts of the European
Commission’s Task Force.
Dimitris Karavasilis is, also, a member
of the Hellenic Institute of Marketing
and other major International Organiza-
tions. Prior to the establishment of the
International Marketing Consulting firm
«DK Consultants», he had worked as a
senior executive in leading industrial and
commercial enterprises in Greece and
abroad. Since 1999, he has been sup-
porting Greek and foreign firms by pro-
viding them with consulting services with
an international marketing and sales
orientation. His articles on International
Trade and Marketing topics have been
occasionally published in the Greek and
foreign press.
