  2. 2. VOLUNTARY MOVEMENTS: Our sense organs detect information about the environment and send it to the brain. Then the brain interprets the information and reacts. Motor nerves transmit nerves impulses to the muscles.
  3. 3. INVOLUNTARY MOVEMENTS: Our sense organs detect information about the environment and send it to the spinal cord. It interprets information and reacts quickly. Motor nerves transmit the nerve impulses from the spinal cord to the muscles.

  5. 5. HOW DOes THE EYE WORK? Light goes into the eye through pupil and lens. The lens projects an upside down image onto the retina. The optic cells detect lights and colours. They send nerve impulses to the optic nerve . The optic nerve transmits nerves impulses to the brain. The brain interprets information.

The cochlea produces nerve impulses. Auditory nerve transmits these impulses to the brain. Finally the brain interprets the information.
