large nature reserve
in Rælingen and
surrounding areas
The nature reserve is
the largest inland
delta in Norway and
was important for
floating timber in
the past.

Østmarka is just a
few minutes from
school.
This is a popular area
for fishing and
outdoor activities,
and there are many
places for swimming
around the lake.
We have many school
activities around the
lake

17. SANDBEKKEN
UNGDOMSSKOLE

Sandbekken is one of the two middle schools in
Rælingen. There are 310 pupils aged 13-16 and a staff
of 35.

18. • Our school was built in 1975 and renovated in 2003,
the school has a 25m pool and large sports hall, a
sand volleyball pitch,a skating ramp and two astroturf football pitches
