Reach Jaipur before noon and quickly get to know the fellow-participants in the group and what
theylike to shoot. Brief recap of basics of photography. And then onto sightseeing and shooting in
and around Jaipur. Street photography and some historical landmarks like Hawa Mahal, Amber fort
and the bustling bazaars will be covered. Wind up by six and then catch the evening Volvo to
Ajmer and Pushkar. You will be picked up and taken to our home for the next three nights, Gulaab
Niwas Palace.
Dinner at the terrace that overlooks the town.
Post dinner, we could stroll over to the town below and get a peep into what’s in store for us for the
next two days!
An early wake up call (5am!) and we are off to the grounds to catch the early morning activity. A
guide will show us through the vast grounds. Hike up to the villages in the deserts and have a chai
with the locals.
Back to the hotel for breakfast and freshen up. Continue with the fair grounds visit till lunch.
Break after lunch to review images; rest till tea.
Early evening, reach the desert again to catch the evening events. We will be at the bathing Ghats
in time for the prayers and the lighting of the lamps. A guide will take us through the unique areas,
filling us in on the folklore.
Note: Hot air ballooning will be available at Pushkar this year. Cost: Negotiable directly with the
operators.
Another early wake-up call for a camel safari, way into the deserts. Guided by someone who
knows the area like the back of his hand, we walk through the fair grounds, visit a remote village,
have a chai with the locals and return to the resort for a late breakfast. After freshening up we
continue with the fair grounds visit till lunch.

Break after lunch to review images; rest till tea.
Early afternoon, move on to explore the town of Pushkar itself and its slice of life opportunities
especially identified by our team. Closer towards evening, on this final day, we will have an evening
of folk dance and music. Break for dinner at the resort and then off to the party again into the wee
hours.
A leisurely breakfast and off we go to Jaipur and then fly back home
The above costs are inclusive of the following:

• Transport from Jaipur airport to Ajmer and back by Volvo a/c buses
• Ajmer to Pushkar, to and fro, will be by the best available means; travel time is under 15 minutes.
