Alternative
Solutions
For
Lego
By Dylan Hubka
Delivery-The Problem
 The trucks carry ABS granules to the
 factory to begin the process.
 While the trucks are driving they are
emitting toxic gases like Carbon dioxide.
Delivery-The Solution
 To stop the production of Caron dioxide
from the delivery trucks they could switch
over to electric or hybrid trucks.
 This would greatly reduce or take away
 completely Carbon dioxide emissions.
Molding Machines-
The Problem
 The ABS granules need to be heated up
at a high temperature to melt the
 granules.
 Some companies would use coal to
reach the temperature and the use of the
coal would emit toxic gases like sulfur
 dioxide.
Molding Machine-
The Solutions
 Lego company is more environmentally
friendly by using electricity to melt the
 granules.
 Other companies could use solar power,
 which is a great alternative.
 They can even go primitive and use the
 heat from the sun.
Packaging- The Problem
 During the packaging process they use a
lot of trees and plastics the can harm the
    environment.
Packaging- The Solution
 To reduce the amount of environmental
destruction, the Lego company can use
 recycled materials like recycled
 cardboard.
 They can cut out some packaging like
the plastic bags that hold the Legos,
 reducing materials.
