• GUIDE THE BALL WITH THE INSIDE OF YOUR BIG TOE.
• *PRACTICE FOR 15-30 MINUTES A DAY.*
4. PASSING
• WHEN PASSING YOU SHOULD PASS WITH YOUR INSIDE FOOT.
• WHEN YOUR GETTING READY TO PASS YOU SHOULD
PUSH THE BALL FORWARD, ABOUT A FOOT AWAY FROM YOU, AND PASS.
• WHEN PASSING PUT ALL YOUR STRENGTH INTO IT AND
FOLLOW THROUGH.
• YOU SHOULD PRACTICE PASSING FOR ABOUT 15-30 MIN.
• PASSING IS A BIG PART OF THE GAME OF SOCCER.
6. DRIBBLING
• WHEN DRIBBLING YOU SHOULD KEEP THE BALL BY YOUR FEET.
• WHEN DRIBBLING AND PREPARING TO TAKE A SHOT YOU SHOULD
PUSH THE BALL TO YOUR STRONG FOOT AND TAKE A POWERFUL SHOT.
• FIND OPEN SPACE TO DRIBBLE
• YOU SHOULD PRACTICE FOR 20-40 MINUTES A DAY!
8. DEFENDING
• WHEN DEFENDING YOU SHOULD BACK PEDAL, BUT FACE THE PERSON ATTACKING.
• ALSO, WHEN 5 FEET FROM THE ATTACKER YOU SHOULD GO IN FOR THE BALL.
• CONTAIN THE ATTACKER DON’T LUNGE FOR THE BALL.
• WHEN YOU GET THE BALL AS A DEFENDER AND THE PRESSURE IS ON DON’T KICK THE BALL TO
THE MIDDLE, EITHER KICK IT TO THE SIDE, DOWN FIELD, OR OUT OF BOUNDS.
• TALK TO YOUR TEAMMATES.
• BE CAUTIOUS OF FOULING IN THE BOX OR NEAR THE GOAL.
10. RULES OF SOCCER
