	Edgilis is a new breed of consulting firm. 	Our mission is to realize new opportunities on behalf of our clients through the intelligent application of innovative processes and solutions. Innovation is in our DNA, but it is only part of our story: for us innovation, powered by entrepreneurial spirit and technological acumen, is not the end in itself but a means to create and capitalize on opportunities for long-term business growth. 	Founded in 2006, Edgilis is headquartered in Singapore, from where we provide a wide range of consulting services to a diversified client base that includes multinationals, technology blue-chips and government. In the last three years our business has expanded globally and across a variety of industries, including defense, electronics, energy, finance, transport and urban development. Our experienced teams have coordinated projects in Asia, the Middle-East and other major innovation centres around the world. 	In recognition of our role as an opportunity creator in South East Asia, in 2009 Edgilis was presented with the International Headquarters Award by the Economic Development Board of Singapore (EDB). 4 Edgilis – Asian base, global reach

The Edgilis name  Our company name is a vivid expression of our vision and values, encapsulating both what we do and how we do it: we provide cutting edge creative thinking, innovation and engineering excellence with agility, speed and insight.  Our brandmark  Our logo comprises the letters of the Edgilis name arranged in an intricate yet compact pattern which represents the simplicity that can be found in complexity, the systematic processes that connect and create something that is greater than the sum of its parts and the paths that lead to finding and fulfilling opportunities.  The open lettering conveys an open-minded working culture and the distinctive, bracing colour palette reflects the values of clarity, coolness, energy and fresh thinking.  8
9 FAQ 3. What does Edgilis mean? 	“Edgilis” is derived from the word “edge”, it is an expression of our company’s vision and values, encapsulating both what we do and how we do it. We provide cutting edge creative thinking, innovation and engineering excellence with agility, speed and responsibility.  4. Was there a legal issue that forced the change?  	No. Edgilis conducts its business in a transparent and legal manner.  5. Why not just drop “technologies” and be Acian?  	We wanted to ensure we could secure a .com URL for the company and Acian.com is not available.  6. Are you changing your business model?  	No. Our business model remains the same and we continue to offer the same services. As we expand our service offerings, we will keep all our clients and partners updated.  7. Will there be any changes in management?  	No, Edgilis’ dynamic management has continued to run our business successfully. We see no reason why there should be any change.  1. Why the name change to Edgilis?  In 2006, when we founded Acian Technologies, our business was primarily built around technology and engineering consulting. As our company has grown, we now have a much broader offering not limited to providing technology solutions. So it was time to find a name that better defines our business.  We see ourselves as an opportunity consulting firm, with a mission to realise new opportunities on behalf of our clients through the intelligent application of innovation. Our name change is a coming of age for our company to not only reflect our growth as we take the company forward in its strategy and direction but part of our rebranding to make Edgilis the leading opportunity consulting firm in Asia.  2. What is opportunity consulting? What is an Innovation Agent? The Edgilis philosophy is to help our clients Envision their objectives and plan innovative strategies; Enable them to design and build the best processes , systems and technology ensuring their people are equipped with the right tools; and Execute and manage the effective delivery of solutions to meet our clients’ needs.  True business opportunity lies where creativity and technology intersect. We believe that innovation is not the end in itself but the means to create and benefit from new opportunities, this is the essence of opportunity consulting.  Our vision is to deliver innovative ground breaking solutions through opportunity consulting. As Innovation Agents, we deliver cutting edge solutions and offer brand new perspectives to improve existing processes and methods. 10 FAQ 10. Is the name change a reaction to the recession? 	Our business has continued to operate smoothly during the recession. From July 2008 to July 2009, Edgilis has seen an impressive 45% growth in its business. Despite the recession, Edgilis still has plans to expand in the region and beyond.  11. Will there be any changes in your existing address? 	No, we are still located at 3 Fusionopolis Way Symbiosis, #05-20 Singapore 138633. You can continue to contact us at +65 6304 5311. 12. Is this part of an expansion plan? Where will you be expanding to?  	It is not coincidental that our headquarter is based in Singapore. With its strong infrastructure, transparent judicial system and strategic geographical location, Singapore is the perfect location to expand our footprint across the Asia Pacific.  	Currently we have offices in Singapore and France. Our operations span globally in China, France, the Middle-East and Singapore. We expect to open more offices in other parts of Asia and Europe as well as expand our operations into other parts of the world.  13. What are your hiring plans for 2010?  	For 2010, we intend to hire 100 new consultants who will interact with our clients on a daily basis.  	We recruit the best and the brightest from top engineering and business schools. More importantly we are on the look out for people who have a strong passion to create opportunities from challenges, and are driven by the desire to simultaneously help our clients succeed while developing their own professional capabilities in parallel. With its strong infrastructure, transparent judicial system and strategic geographical location, Singapore is the perfect location to expand our footprint across the Asia Pacific. Currently we have offices in Singapore and France. Our operations span globally in China, France, the Middle-East and Singapore. We expect to open more offices in other parts of Asia and Europe as well as expand our operations into other parts of the world. 13. What are your hiring plans for 2010?
