Notes de l'éditeur

  1. Jot down what has emerged as your strengths and weakness personally and for your company lately
  2. From the beginning, Cerner has innovated at the intersection of health care and information technology. With health information technology at our core, we employ some of the world’s most talented software engineers, developers and clinicians to ensure the solutions and offerings we create for you are consistently state-of-the-art. Today, with over 29,000 associates, Cerner is the world’s largest publicly-traded health IT company. Our 2018 revenue was $5.4 billion and we attribute much of our success to 40 years of creating solutions for some of health care’s toughest challenges.
  3. Test Design: Tests need to be named in a meaningful way and findable Reusable Handlers: requires an engineering mindset, need to understand the scope and purpose of each module, again naming and findability is key
  4. Understand your testing needs Desktop native applications, mobile, web, cross application use cases (Start a workflow on a mobile device, then user transitions to a desktop to finish use case) cross devices (think testing a texting conversation between 2 mobile devices) Determine the skillset of your testers and what do you want to pay for that skill set Understand object based vs image base testing tools Example if you are testing Java RCP applications the object id change every time the code is compiled (which will break object based tests Identify the tests that you run the most, start with these to get the most efficiency Does your test need to run in multiple environments Hard coded values vs dynamic look up of test data
  5. Environment drift happens
