Falciparum   have higher mean molecular weights and logP values  A high proportion of compounds that fail the Abbott filters for reactivity when compared to drugs and antimalarials  Understanding the chemical properties and characteristics of compounds  =  better compounds for lead optimization.  St Jude and Novartis datasets should be screened vs Mtb as their property space is close to TB actives GSK compounds may not be an ideal starting point for lead optimization for malaria
