10. Story lines portrayed.
Several story lines are portrayed in my trailer. This is to follow the
conventions of a soap opera trailer but also make the trailer more
interesting and enigmatic

11. Editing in my trailer
The beginning of the trailer starts with the music at a slower pace
and the scenes shown in mainly slow motion. This is to introduce
the plot lines and the characters carefully. The main characters
Mason is introduced with medium close up slow zoomed into a big
close up. This is to make it clear to the characters that this
character is important, it also allows characters to clearly see his
facial expressions and understand his stereotype.
As the trailer continues the music gets faster in pace. This is to
reflect the heightening storylines between the characters. The
conflict between the 3 male characters is shown more and short
cuts are used to show the build up to the violent fight scene. Big
close ups of characters are used through out the trailer to portray
the characters feelings by clearly showing their facial expressions.
12. Lighting/sound
Natural lighting used throughout the
trailer to create a sense of realism.
Shots filmed on location to continue the
realism we wanted to portray.
I used a non-diegetic soundtrack to
heighten the shown feelings and
emotions of the characters .
The song is a passion pit remix which
think works well in my trailer as the beat
speeds up as the characters clashing
lives are shown more. It is also a dance
song that could be heard at a party and
reflects the teenage lives of the
characters.
