Drive into a transfer cabin. Confirm parking request to start

A PSH system comprises two mechanical
sub-systems responsible for vertical and
horizontal movements separately. For a 2-level
PSH system, a parking lift moves parking pallets
vertically up and down to transfer vehicles from
entry level to upper level. Parking pallets move
transversely at the entry level to provide a
vacant place for parking lift to move parking
pallets down to the entry level. For a PSH system
with more than 2 parking levels, parking pallets
slide transversely to form a vacant shaft for
parking lifts to operate.

Specifications and features
A Parking lift is a simple mechanical parking
system with parking pallets only perform
vertical movements. Vehicle parks onto a
vacant parking pallet at ground level,
engaging the switch on a control panel to lift
the vehicle and create a vacant parking
space below for the next user. To retrieve the
vehicle above, the vehicle below must be
removed to provide an empty space to lower
the parking pallet down.
Specifications and features
Vertical paternoster parking system is also
known as circulating parking system. The
advantage of a PCX system is the minimum
requirement of building footprint, only 36m2
for up to 12 parking spaces. But the
disadvantage is that to retrieve one vehicle,
the system must move all 12 parking spaces
simultaneously. This may cause queuing
issue during high flow periods.
