  3. 3. WHAT IS AN ECOSYSTEM? The ecosystem is a biological system made up of a community of living organisms and the physical environment where they are related. It is a unit made up of interdependent organisms that share the same habitat.
  4. 4. WHAT IS THE POPULATION? A population is the determined number of organisms of the same species, that inhabit a delimited portion of the ecosystem.
  5. 5. WHAT IS THE HABITAD? In an ecosystem, the habitat is the place where the community lives, it refers to the place that presents the appropriate conditions for an organism, species or animal or plant community to live.

  7. 7. WHAT IS A DESERT? A desert is a biome with an arid climate, where rainfall is scarce. These usually have little life, but that depends on the type of desert; in many there is abundant life, the vegetation adapts to low humidity and the fauna usually hides during the day to preserve humidity.
