WHAT IS EMOTIONAL HEALTH?
Emotionally healthy people can recover from
adversity, develop strong relationships, and lead
productive lives. Being emotionally healthy takes so
me time and effort, but
in turn produces more satisfying results.
WHAT IS PHYSICAL EXERCISE?
Physical exercise, in its simplest definition, is the movement of the
body to expend energy.
Physical exercises are divided into three groups according to their effect
on the human body:
 Stretching exercises.
 Aerobic exercises that increase cardiovascular endurance such as
walking and running.
 Anaerobic exercises to increase short-term muscle strength, such as
weight lifting.

• Stretching is a form of physical
exercise in which a specific muscle
or tendon (or muscle group) is
deliberately flexed or stretched in
order to improve the muscle's felt
elasticity and achieve comfortable
muscle tone. The result is a feeling
of increased muscle control,
flexibility, and range of motion.

EXERCISE
• Aerobic exercise is any type of
cardiovascular conditioning. It
can include activities like brisk
walking, swimming, running, or
cycling. You probably know it as
“cardio.” By definition, aerobic
exercise means “with oxygen.”
Your breathing and heart rate will
increase during aerobic activities.

• Anaerobic exercise is a
type of exercise that
breaks down glucose in
the body without using
oxygen; anaerobic means
"without oxygen".

are good for
emotional health?
Here are some
activities that can help
to improve your
overall emotıonal well-
being;
• Get plenty of sleep.
• Stop to enjoy small aspects of the day.
• Use a stress ball or some other stress reliever.
• Perform a random act of kindness.
• Deep breathing exercises.
• Yoga.
• Pet a dog.
• Eat breakfast.
