A qualified primary school teacher,
Esther has been teaching Yoga for 5
years. She is passionate about the
benefits Yoga can offer for mental
and physical health. Esther believes
that teaching children the skills that
yoga offers can be the key to helping
them develop the resilience they need
to grow with the stresses of the
modern world.
Esther is a writer and has an
inspirational story of recovery from
addiction that she can share with
older children as part of your PHSE
curriculum
Esther is fully DBS checked and
registered on the update service.

Yoga offers a holistic way of living, not
only the movement. I can tailor sessions to
meet your PHSE and RE sessions drawing
on Yoga philospophy and Hindu culture.

across the age ranges reporting
stress, anxiety and other problems.
Yoga is a powerful tool to help
children manage their emotions,
increase resilience and reduce stress
and anxiety. It also promotes
physical wellbeing, and can deliver
many of the PHSE outcomes of the
National Curriculum in Wales.
Why teach
Yoga in
Schools?
This can be delivered as part of Yoga
classes, or as discrete sessions. Again,
regular sessions will deliver more impact
for the children than one off sessions.
STAFF WELLBEING
Staff wellbeing in schools, particularly in
relation to stress, is a big concern. I can
teach stress management tools to your
staff to help them maintain their own
wellbeing in the face of rising demands
and stress in the profession.
