A little presentation about cars.

1. Cars and how to drive

2. What is a car?
• A car is a wheeled motor vehicle used for
transporting passengers, which also carries its own
engine.
• It evolved from 19 century to actually.

3. Engine
• It can be gasoline or diesel, and it have a lot of parts
which work together to move the car.
• Is important to take care and clean to drive whit safety.

4. Steering wheel
• It is used to control the direction where you want to go in
the road.

5. Gearstick
• It is used in manual cars to shift up or shift down,
because it control the speed and the revolutions of the
engine. Automatic cars don’t have gearstick.

6. Pedals
• In a car we can find 2 types of pedals:
– Gas pedal, used to accelerate.
– Brake pedal, used to brake and stop the car.
– Manual cars have another pedal called clutch, it used at the
same time with the gearstick to do shifts.

7. Races
• We can find 3 types of races:
– Circuit races (Formula 1).
– Speed races (Nascar).
– Drift races (Formula Drift).

8. Tuning
• Tuning is when people modify cars with some
competition pieces only for shows.

9. How to drive
• 1. Turn on the car.
• 2. Put yourself the seatbelt.
• 3. Check the mirrrors.
• Let’s drive.
