This document summarizes BRAC's microfinance and social programs that aim to promote financial inclusion. It discusses programs that provide microloans, training, and support services to over 83,000 women clients, as well as a new microfinance program targeting people with disabilities. The disability program launched in 7 townships in Myanmar and directly supports 486 people with disabilities through grant funding, loan options, and business/technical/life skills training. Key challenges include client migration and death as well as the need for more time and customized support for some disabled clients to successfully participate in microfinance.
