Project Details Lee Highway, U.S. Route 29 - Phase III Widening Capital Facilities/Utilities Design and Construction Division/Transportation and Stormwater Construction Branch Description: The Lee Highway, U.S. Route 29 Phase III Widening Project was substantially completed on November 14, 2017. This project consisted of construction of a box culvert extension, concrete sidewalk, asphalt trail, curb & gutter, 24” water line relocation, 8,650 feet of additional asphalt pavement, two Bio-retention Filters, five signalized intersections and other related items. Project Overview: • Additional travel lane north bound on Lee Highway between the intersections with Legato Road and Shirley Gate Road. • Installation of box culvert extension. • Installation of RCP concrete pipe to improve drainage flow Project Team: • Department of Transportation – Brook Khorashadi • Land Acquisition Division – Beth Shubert • Utilities Design and Construction Division (UDCD) – Ben Samiyi • Project Inspector, MBP – Tony Knave
