Highlights
• Stream project requested by the community and Reston

• Reston Association surveyed 40 trees that are likely to fall down
if no action is taken, at least 3 have fallen since we started the
design
• Community provided easements to access property
• Extensive replanting will be incorporated in later design phases,
100 overstory trees per acre, 200 understory trees per acre and
1089 shrubs per acre
• Construction cost: estimate < $1,000,000
