which has clear center pupil.

,therefore used to completely change or
mask the underlying eye colour .
They have an iris pattern with a clear
central pupil.
The clear pupil is typically 5mm in diameter.
7. A prosthetic contact lens is a tinted or
painted contact lens used to improve the
appearance of a disfigured eye or to help
correct the vision of a poorly functioning
eye.

15. INDICATIONS
Disfigured corneas with irregular
astigmatism
Disfigured eyes with moderate to severe
neovascularization
CONTRAINDICATION
Should not be used to mask anomalies that
affect peripheral parts of cornea or large
portions of the eye.

When a significant proportion of the
anterior eye is disfigured
When the patient is a previous soft
contact lens wearer
When the patient only wants to wear the
