2. Mission & Background
Victor Educational Institute is committed to helping senior high school students learning necessary knowledge for exams to enter the
college of their dream. Victor focuses on anaylyzing Taiwanese exam systems, through both off-line (in class) and online courses. This
project is mainly for optimizing the online course. The target audience is those who are urgently seeking a career due to the impact
of COVID-19, and many of them facing the *key shot of what they choose (explain as baseball):
● Ball 1 (weakness): Economic imbalance (60% jobs cannot be done remotely)
● Ball 2 (weakness): Industry development imbalance(emphasis on biotechnology and digital industry)
● Ball 3 (weakness): Fake news
● Strike 1 (strength): Infrastructure and public health improvement
● Strike 2 (strength): Work flexibility, quality of life, ecological restoration...
The *key shot is the digital divide, so we want to extensively equip them so that they can connect with trends in various industris
through our online course website and APP. Victor emphasizes on “language, computer science, cloud knowledge” in hopes that
students will be able to apply what they learn, and that the humanistic design can serve to enhance their learning motivation.
*Key shot means, in a baseball game, when the pitcher has pitched 2 strikes
and 3 balls, the game goes into “full count”. If the batter miss the next shot
then he would be out, otherwise, the batter could walk to the first base.

Dark
Horse
● Dark Horse (main player type):
Due to Dark Horse can see the clear direction of their future, we set them motivated mostly by CD4. These kinds of users
are motivated by CD4, CD3, and CD5. Though these students maybe not perform very well in school’s “tests and exams”,
they know what they want and just need some boosters.
We will focus on optimizing the experience of learning in Victor’s site below, make sure that:
CD4: Need something like a skill tree to list what they have to conquer/collect
CD4: Eager to verify what ability they have had in real-world to work effectively (and further to know what they lack to
improve)
CD3: Learning new knowledge/skills could be the boosters to synergetically empower what they have had
CD3: Making wishes and getting dynamic feedback is what they expect
CD5: Inspired by mates’ feedback
CD5: Show their effort/achievement in opened place and get feedback to verify their status or progress in which stage of
their goal.
9. CD2 Accomplishment:
*Like a tracker to record their growth or
hard-working, it would bring them a sense of
achievement

where to go, and believe there would be something
