- PSACR and NEXT are the two major critical measurement to determine CAT6E cable perform. PSACR: Power Sum Attenuation over Crosstalk . the difference between Attenuation and crosstalk, measured in dB, at a given frequency. This is required to assure that signal sent down a twisted pair is stronger than any intereference signals imposed on that same pair by crosstalk from other pairs. It is crucial to have PSACR greater than zero (> 0) at certain frequency, if it become negative, that means the signal transmitting is not 100% secured at that frequency.
